RuneScape Woodcutting Guide

This is a RuneScape Woodcutting Guide. How to make money with Woodcutting.

At first, you won’t make a lot of money with Woodcutting. Normal Logs aren’t worth a lot but are easy to cut. You could sell them at the General Store.

Try to buy a better Hatchet as soon as possible, to increase productivity. Once you can cut Oak Logs, switch to that. You still won’t make alot of money yet though.

Once you’ve got a high enough level for Willow Logs, you should cut those. Now that you can cut Willow Logs, you can sell them at the Grand Exchange as they sell pretty good. Best spot for this is close to Draynor Market, as there is a bank nearby. Watch out for Black Mages though, if you have a low Combat Level.

Stay here for a while, keep cutting Willow Logs. If you are p2p (pay 2 play, aka Member) you can, if your level is high enough, start cutting Maple Logs, though Willow logs give more exp, but less money.

But it’s best to get to level 80 as soon as possible to cut Yew Logs. You can also start at 75, but it’s not recommended as cutting Yew Logs at level 75 will be very, very, VERY slow. Now you have 2 options:

  1. Cut the logs and sell them at the Grand Exchange.
  2. Fletch them into Willow Longbows for some extra money, not much though.

The choice is yours. When you are between Woodcutting level 85-90, you should start cutting Magic Logs.

I recommend the Sorcerer’s Tower spot near Camelot, because there are 4 magic trees there and a bank is close by at Seer’s Village.

This is a very good way to make some money, because they sell like Hotdogs… hmm… Hotdogs… But anyways, keep doing this for some time and you’ll see that you’ll be rich in no time! Good luck!
