Runescape Woodcutting Guide (f2p)
This guide will teach you how to level up your Woodcutting on Runescape from level one all the way to 99!
Lvl 1-15
This is where the fun starts! So to get started buy yourself a bronze hatchet (or an iron hatchet) from the Grand Exchange in Varrock and head to the place with the mysterious ruins south-west of Falador. When you get there you should see a lot of trees, start cutting them down and dropping them whenever you have a full inventory (unless you want to bank them and use them later for Firemaking). When you get to level 6 Woodcutting buy a steel hatchet from the Grand Exchange. Repeat this until you have level 15 Woodcutting.
Lvl 15-30
Congratulations now you have the ability to chop down oak trees! Stay in the area with the mysterious ruins and search around for oak trees, when you find one chop it down. Keep on chopping down oaks and when you reach level 21 Woodcutting, buy yourself a mithril hatchet. Drop the oak logs whenever you have a full inventory. Repeat this until you reach level 30 Woodcutting
Lvl 30-70
Head to the area South of Draynor Bank with the willow trees, start cutting them down and banking them whenever you have a full inventory (you can sell them or use them for Firemaking later on). When you reach level 31 Woodcutting go back to the Grand Exchange and buy yourself an adamant hatchet (and a rune hatchet at level 41 Woodcutting). Repeat this until you reach level 70 Woodcutting.
Lvl 70-99
If you reached level 70 good job you’re going great! But don’t stop just yet, you’re only 29 levels away from level 99 Woodcutting! Head to the area with trees south-east of Falador and you’ll find two yew trees, start cutting them down and banking them at Falador bank until you reach level 99 Woodcutting.
Congratulations! You have reached level 99 Woodcutting!

Nice guide but this is gunna take up WAY too much time
i agree with cameron
This guide didn’t explain much apart from telling us what we needed to buy and what trees to chop, incase you havn’t noticed, chopping Yew trees at level 70 is probably the worst thing you can do…
Nice try though, explain it a bit more next time.

Pretty good guide, I have one suggestion though, for the willows, if you don’t really want to keep the willows and you just want fast exp, you should go to Rimmington near the ocean and you can run over and sell the willows to the general store to get rid of them quickly. The big plus is that there aren’t usually people there. The most I have ever seen ever is two other people. Oh yeah, I have a runescape money guide. You can click on my username to find it. Tell me what you think.
I don’t actually need a money guide, I can make 200k a day and 500k if I really try hard.
This is Pathetic
i found it gud altho id get members just to go tree gnome stronghold to cut yews
its much better than anywere in the free world
