Smashing Giants to Pieces in RuneScape

Hill giants look very dangerous because of their tallness, but they really aren’t more than just a lump of meat wearing clothes. They barely hit anything. I watch as they try to kill me. 0, …, 0, …, 0, … If I was that weak, I would go and train my strength. These newbs remain level 28!

Ah well, they cannot train their combat levels, because hungry adventurers are always there to kill them. Would you be able to train if you got killed every single minute? Adventurers crave hill giants to kill.

I can kill some hill giants now, because i’m on a quiet server, and because it’s only 11 am in the morning now. Most of the time, there are lots of bold adventurers in here, trying to claim a hill giants for themselves to kill. Even in member worlds, there’s loads of people killing them.

It’s really a pain in the bottom to get one in non-member worlds. And if you succeed in getting one, you will always have this or that player shouting offensive language to you, and calling you names, just because you were faster!

Offensive language, there’s loads of it in RuneScape. I bet the average age of RS-players ranges from 12 to 14, and that sickens the game for all other (older, and more mature) players who just want to play the game seriously without all the offensive language.

If a kid starts picking you on, and you dare to defend yourself, chances are you will get reported. Just a single offensive word, and you can get banned. The time of being banned can vary from 1 week to permanently. In some cases, you do not get banned, but muted instead. That means that you can still play the game, but you won’t be able to talk anymore. You will then have to conversate using the Quick Chat feature. That feature allows you to shout preset sentences.

Earlier, I was offensive to offensive kids picking me on all the time, because i was a kill stealer and all that. I would get back at them, and call them names too. That got my first account banned, which was combat level 100. I then restarted and got to level 109, finally. Then I got banned once again.

So one important tip i’ll give you: NEVER reply to kids shouting at you. If it is bothering you, you might disable your public chat, or ignore the annoying player.

I’m playing again now, on a brandnew account, and in just a couple of weeks I got myself to combat level 80.
Let’s hope I will not get banned again!
