Terraria

So, as this is my second article i am going to say one off topic thing, and that is the posts i make are going to be “blog” style, I’m not going to make them formal, Cos I’m not that kind of person, I’m an informal person.

A big hype at the moment is this game called “Terraria”, now i have no idea what this about, i have never played it, never heard of it before, and never seen it until now, but i saw it was one of “hot” things on Triond, so i thought i would do a blog style article as I’m just starting of and am trying to grow a little.

Collector’s Edition

So i was looking at the site, and the first thing i saw was the Collector’s edition of the game, so there is something for the bigger ans of the game to buy. Inside the Collector’s Edition, there is an physical copy of the game. And some of the extra “goodies”, so to speak, are a key chain, a poster, some trading cards and an in game bunny.

After Watching the Trailer

Now, i watched the 1.1 trailer, and it does look good, the game is full of different things, like magic, hardbosses, PVP, don’t hate me for saying, but its like RuneScape, but 2d and much better. >.< The game looks fast paced, with tons of different things do do against you enemies. You can build things, but as its in 2d, MineCraft is a more suited game to stuff like that. But like iv said, i have never played it.

The different things you can do in the game

It says in the description below the trailer box, i am relying on the text on the website and what i have seen in the trailer as i have never played it, but getting back on topic, it says in the description that you can many things int he game. These include, make a wide variety of weapons, fight of lots of different kinds of monsters in different biomes, which from seeing the trailer, Biomes include Forest, Swamp, Desert etc. Your can dig deep underground to find different items and resources, such as money, accessories and multiple us full things. you can gather wood which like any other game, is one of the core materials in the game. You can also gather stone, ores and other resources with can be made into lots of different types of things like weapons and everything else. The last thing it says it that you can build a shelter, which one? A house? A fort? Maybe a Castle which other people can move into, maybe they can pay rent or something.

Its says at the end of the website, “There are even more challenges awaiting you…are you up to the task?” So, this means, there is more to the game than what i have tried to explain in this article/blog, so to find out more, you will have to buy the game (I’m not advertising)
