The Best Way to Train Smithing F2P

This guide will tell you the best way to train smithing in runescape f2p.

This guide will solely aim on giving you the best way, exp wise to level to 99 so you have to know that can cost quite a lot.

Let’s say you have around 50mils to spend on Smithing.

Start off by doing the quest The Knight’s Sword (in Falador) and you will be awarded with enough exp to level up to level 29.

Level 29-33: Buy lots of Iron Bars and start making Iron Chainbodys to level 33.

Level 33-48: But even more Iron Bars and start making Iron Platebodys to 48. Understand that it takes 5 Iron Bars per Iron Platebody.

Level 48-99: Believe it or not, but the best way for f2p to train smithing all the way to 99, is to smith Steel Platebodys. Mithril Plates are just not worth smithing.

I would say it would be usefull to buy the Scroll of Efficiency at the Dungeoneering Rewards trader for 20.000 tokens if you’re going for 99 smithing with items which need 3 or more bars to make. You’ll save a lot of money using it for high smith levels. The scroll is a parmanent effect tho ;)
