The Joy of Being a RuneScape Member

I do not play Runescape anymore but I still remember when after playing for 3 years of non-member Runescape i finally was able to get a membership by paying with my lunch money. FYI: If you are planning to use triond to get you the Runescape membership think again. You need to have a credit card attached to your paypal account in order for you to get a membership so unless you get your parent’s credit card you can stop using triond now. Anyways I will try to sum up my joys of becoming a member.

I was finally a member and could not believe that i had 62 days of credit left as i logged onto world 2, the official member trading world whihc is usually full. As i logged in to varrock square i was so surprised. I saw a cannon killing guards very fast. There was people weirding blue colored bows and weird armor that I later discovered to be barrows and dragon. The first thing I did was rush to the Grand exchange and go to the buy items option. I was surprised to see all 6 slots open. For about an hour I started checking out all the dragon items and how they looked and different wierd member stuff that ive never heard of. I had 1 million gp of of woodcutting and fishing. I instantly looked around to see what was common armor and weopons. Having 50 defence and 60 attack I finally decided to buy full granite armor and a dragon longsword. I watched with joy as I saw the items turn green. Suddenly when I tried to equip my dragon longsword it said i had to do a quest. So I decided to turn to range instead. I had 72 range so I bought full black dragon-hide armor and a magic bow and an amulet of power(diden’t know about glories). I was surprised to see how little the range full set cost. Especially surprised was I when I saw the price of the Rune arrows. The adament arrows had basically the same price but were a lot worse. Having bought everything I finally remembered about the member area. I had heard about the edgville dungeon and found that the closest way was from falador. I teleported and approached the gates and felt a leap in my heart when I saw them open. I quickly rushed to the dungeon and tried my magic bow special on the first monster that I saw which was an armor suit. I killed it in one hit. Next I rushed throughout the dungeon to find the entrance to the blue dragons. When i got the key to enter I finally and coulden’t believe that I was actually going to slay a dragon. I went to a safe spot and started shooting one. It took me about 20 arrows to kill one but I finally did and I was thrilled when I saw dragon bones, and surprised when i saw a wierd green thing called a grimy ranaar. Finally I got those items but was too exhausted to go on. I logged out and went to bed thinking what to do the next day. there was just so much. Would it be a skill like hunter or agility, or quests to wield the dragon longsword or would I try member pking. Thus was my first Day of being a member
