These are the best monsters (in my opinion) to kill for drops in RuneScape F2P.
- Dark Wizards levels 7 & 20: Don’t let these creatures low level fool you. If you are level 70+ combat and you slay these for about and hour or two with full green dragonhide on, you can easily make 200-400k from the runes these creatures drop, which include Natures, Comics, laws, and chaos, which all sell for pretty good amounts when sold in bulk.
- Moss Giants level 42: I don’t particularly recommend these if you are trying to make money, unless you are willing to make long, tedious trips to a bank and back. I advise these because they are good for experience in melee, range, or mage, and they are also good prayer experience because of the guaranteed big bones drop each time.
- Lesser Demons level 82: These creatures are great…if you are willing to stay for a while. Their best drop is a rune medium helm, which is kind of rare. They also drop death runes and fire runes, which can produce profit if you stock up on them. It took me about 4 days of playing 2 hours a day to get a full inventory of rune medium helms, so again, i dont particularly recommend this spot.
- Greater Demons level 92: These are the second best monster to kill for drops in Runescape Non-members. They drop rune med helms, rune full helms, rune kite shields, and rune chain bodies. These drops are rare, but you can make a good profit off of these monsters if you stick it out. The downside: these demons are located in deep wilderness where you can’t teleport, and you can get pestered by revenants (ghost like creatures that are aggressive and can hit very high). If you are 90+ combat you will probably be able to handle this with some ease.
- Cockroach Soldier level 83: These are by far the best monster in Runescape F2P to kill for profit. At level 80+ combat with full rune and an inventory of tuna, you can make a solid 300k an hour off of the law and fire rune, rune scimitar, rune square shield, and ore drops, which all come pretty frequently.
I believe this all to be true. Great job! But. and of course ther has to be a but. I think if ur basis is making money. I would suggest killing Hobgoblins. Because they drop Limpwort roots as theyr most common drop. Which a full invintory of these is worth 28k. So if your in it for money….well….. Ok I hav made a mistake. The limpwort roots at the moment are worth 1.5k ea. So a full invintory. or just 27 is 40k. Hav fun!
one best way to make money for lvl 40-50 is go to the sewers in varrock and go where the deadly red spider are there you can see that two red spider eggs are droped there you can sell them in grand exchange one day the cost of them was 617
now dont forget two bring somefood like lovster because the spiders attack you when you go near them
(when you sell them others will buy it for making strength portion you can either sell them or make porions
yeah you dont get 300k an hour from cockroaches.. but the rune drops are 1/20 and the law and deaths are great.
Limpwurts are the best though by far
I would recommend any dragon for the best money, especially blue dragons, they have high hp but hardly hit high or even at all.

This is a F2P guide. The only dragon on F2P is Elvarg, which can only be killed once, during the Dragon Slayer quest.
in my opinion, if you have a good enough ranged, good enough bolts, and some time. you can make 126k from 2 trips of collecting blue dragon hides and bones. and if your really brave, (like me ^^) try out both blue and black, or just blacks, to make your purse go even higher.
Another good way to make money is going to the Ice Giant Cave. (its in a dungeon at mudskipper point) But you might wanna bring some food if ur doing mage or range. They drop grimy things like grimy rannar ( wich is worth almost 10k) or some good seeds that u could use or sell. And they drop Big bones and good runes. But dont waste ur time killing the ice knights they dont drop that good of stuff. Also non-member can go there to. Well I hope I helped!

Now it is a good thought, but the true best money maker is green dragons, with a full inv. of green d hide and dragon bones, you can make 60-66k within about 10-20min. depending on lvl…
the blue and black dragon one is the best i recomend ranging with a crossbow and at least mithril bolts and bring ranging pots i normaly just keep bones you get 110k a trip
the cockcraoch drones are also nice, there are lots of them
and nobody barely kills them
but they have good drops if you take almost everything till you inventory is full, you can sell all on GE and make about 30k at least each time.
You dont waste money on food cause their lvl is rather low
The drops are: money (not much but i always take because until my inventory is full i can have taken 2k and it only takes one spot of my inventory away)

red spider eggs
uncut ruby, emerald and saphire
fire, water and air runes
and coal ores (only 2 at the time but if you wait until your inventory is full then you at least have 30 ores each time and because its noted it also only takes one spot on your inventory)
and they are easy kill because only 11hp
and you dont have to wait until another one appears because there are so many and theres no competition of other players
and dont forget the fact that you dont have to buy food like i already said, that saves a lot of money i assure you
i always like the green dragons they have a fairly low lvl of 79 i beleive havnt played for a while sorry and if u collect the 100% chance drops like green d hide and bones u get about 60-66k per inventory i only collect bones though and i make over 100k average per inventory w/just bones hope i helped happy hunting (srry bout huge space comps lagging like all hell)

lesser deamons are o.k but they can hit hard if you dont have full rune. Not a good drop rate. Suggest unicorn horns as of now a full invy cost about 32k takes bout 10 to 20 min to get it depending on where u are
these are pretty good monsters but try killing chaos druids because they are lvl 13 and they drop all the herbs so you can like earn 1mil in 5hours…
Green Drags are far the best xp and cash if your a a cb lvl 75+ or 80+ you can meelie or range them each trip is 70k-100k every 15mins i am a lvl 138 it yakes me less then 7mins to get full invin!

or Greater demons that are “great” lol .. They drop loads of rune as of “da” said.

Best monster to kill for stuff= King Black Dragon
i am lvl 9 and I kill lvl 2 goblins and they drop about 1-10 gold and if you do this for an hour you could get about 200 gold I reccomend bring lots of food they are hard.
I am lvl 137 and I recomend killing gobils because they drop about 10 gold that is decent money
am i lvl 48 and i recomend goblins all the way
goblins are weak but it takes a while to make decent money.
I havent really tried killing monsters for money but i will.
If u are having trouble with making money and u dont want to kill to get it… there are two ways i found usefull.
Fishing swordies gets you about 14k if u have 26 of them and they sell at a decent speed.
Also if your are or have done d-slayer u can sell the shield for 600gp.
Just talk to the lumby duke,ask for shield, drop it, ask for another, repeat as many times as you want, then pick up the shields and sell.

not bad for noobs i guess but believe me or not the real $ comes from moss’s bcuz of the seeds such as ranarr and snapdragons. i got 3each and made over 500k in litarly 5minutes. i was amazed

for once i got like 100k when i was pking but that was once every say 1-3 hours i would say the best f2p way of making GP is telegrabing zammy wines at the chaos temple near gob village(if your mage is level 33 or higher) and selling them
p.s the wines are crowded most of the time
i like to kill men bt the ge because they drop grimmys alot and u can make like 100k a full innentorey
i just recommend doing woodcutting or making steel bars it’s rlly easy but u’ll get bored of it pretty fast i’m 97 wc atm and made 18mil atm in 2 weeks of yews

i recomend the moss giants for members as they drop snap dragon and ranarr seeds: snap dragon seeds sell respectivly for about 89-90k a full inv could bare a huge profit of 2.5m that and they can give about 60-70k and hour exp wise very good training if u train on them by the barbarian out post spot there at

The bandos general drops really well… every 10 or so kills he drops a peice of bandos and if you\’re in a decent group lottshare its 500k for a few mins… easy money. Only problem is getting the bandos kills and getting everyone ready…
i made 89 mill on the cockraches over 3 weeks
i say a great way to make lots of cash is to kill fleshies. they drop noted iron ores, ranarrs, kwuarms, and other herbs, plus the tooth half of a key which sells for like 70k. and like 50% of the time they drop 42 fire runes, which can add up to about 2k of them, and like 40-50 natures an inventory. like 300k per hour with a lil luck. plus, fleshies are only level 25. DONT BRING RING OF WEALTH! if u do, ranarrs will be dropped less often
kill green dragon’s with a cannon you get like 110k per load and its
like 5 min its awsome i also went from lvl 1 range to 40 lol cannon rock’s!

lol guys i train on ice giants for runes and big bones and they have crap defence so u caneasily kill 5 before u r even hit once just watch out for ice warriors lvl 57 they hve a higher def and att and can easily hit 50s which with no food it would add up fast HAPPY HUNTING!!!
L gf nice comments if u guys really wanna make money folo my rule. get members. go to green drags in the rift and bring range r cbow mith or higher bolts. green dhide is fine but range pot and sup def if lvl 100lower. bring an anti dragon shield.bring food such as swordfish if low lvl like 70-80 bring like 10 shark and rest swordies and tele runes tabs just something to tele with. if u keep doing this for 5 time to bank and to rift i assure you good money. it takes me 30mins for 10m. i dont hack or glitch or any of that sort i just alch things at the drags for more money. if u want or need desperatley lots of money such as 100m use better d hide like the black one if u can afford. and use a dragon dagger poison ftw=for the win if u dont no internet speak.i assure you every 1half hour u should get close to 89 to 100m no lies

Barrows and chaos dwogres are also very good, barrows taking longer but there being a higher chance of a good drop, chaos dwogres drop dragon hatchets and barrows have barrows armour and weapons.

i am lvl 106 f2p and 111 mem and i was just turned into a f2p
acc and im looking for fast money.
thing is i was hacked twice b4 i ran outa mem days so im skrewed..
i have a few ideas but not sure which is best
1.yews they are 508gp each
2.mine coal/iron ore and make steel bars then make steel pl8 chest or pl8 skirt which is like 1k – 1.9k each
3. craft and enchant diamond/ruby jewelery
4.big bones
5. limp roots(yet it takes basicly 15minutes/100ish kills for 1 root)
6. high alch maple long/short bows
7.sell mith or steel bars
8.yes…pk
9.rune craft mabe elemental runes
10.kill lesser or greater demons(but have no idea the location or wildy lvl which they are located at)
11.i could stake in duel tournaments
12.join a merch cc and learn the items to merch
13.and yes the d slayer sheild idea is brilliant thats worth a shot
14.moss/hill giants are a all around fav. to every1..mage attack,deffence,strength,range and cant forget prayer trainers
the downfall to them is all the bots
15.roachs are decent exp. but dont hardly drop rune anything(have lovely law rune and fire rune drops tho)
16.i will look into the dark wizard killing for the runes
17. and mabe i could mine rune essence

limpwurmrots are the best in babarian villige you can get a lot of money with limpwurm roots but you need 25 dungeoneering

Uhm many not money making with monsters… But if you really want to make money with f2p I would say woodcutting and get yew.1 log is 434gp.but if you just began runescape I would say Clark tasks of Lumbridge and draynor village.one really easy task like burn a log gives you already 640 gp.
I am scared of that 12 yr old kid. There is going to be a 1984! Oh. Shit is really hard and boring but mining or mining and smithing is your best bet. Start with knights sword quest to get 30 smithing then start smithing steel bars. You can buy all ores or mine either coal and iron, then buy the other and you will profit. I suggest mining with it though because eventually you can mine runite ore and coal all by yourself and smith it yourself. Full rune that you make yourself is invaluable. I currently have a friends list that’s full of people who need armor for them and their clans. Who else can sell full rune 100k???
This is a free to play guide therefore i suggest you the best way to make money in runescape is to smith steel bars. Well to start with you will have to buy as many coals and iron ores required, repeat the process making the steel bars fro Al-Kharid bank, u start alching them buying as many nature runes and having a fire staff in hand. If you work hard enough, you will make good cash and gain decent mage as well as smithing experience,…for the mean time you can check the Grand Exchange and do merchanting on runes.
an easy way to make money in f2p would be killing hobgoblins east of the hill giants ladder, they drop limp roots every 5-10 kills and are levels 28 and 42.
