Top Five Best Ways to Make Millions on RuneScape (F2P)
In this guide, I will tell you the five best ways, in my personal experience (3 years) of Runescape gaming, how to spend your time the most profitably.
Here are some of the best ways I’ve found, on my two year old account, to make money on Runescape in F2P, and believe me I’ve done it ALL. F2P stands for “Free to Play” the other status is P2P, which stands for “Pay to Play”. In members, P2P, there are many, many, maaany more options which I will discuss in another mini guide. Soo let’s start out with…
5. Fishing! If your fishing lvl is high enough (lvls 60 to 99), you should seriously consider fishing. Lobsters or Swordfish will make you the most the money, but the fishing areas are often too crowded to catch either very quickly. The only place you can fish lobsters or swordfish in F2P is on Karamja. On your mini map, you’ll see a circle with a blue fish inside, that marks where you can fish the lobsters or swordfish.
4. Merchanting used to be more efficient until they added the Grand Exchange and new trading system, but it can still make you lots of money via Grand Exchange. The motto of the merchants is to “Buy low and sell high”. Merchanting also requires lots and LOTS of patience. You really want to have at least 2 million gp in order to make a consistent profit in the Grand Exchange. The more common and costly trading items are Saradomin plate bodies or Zamorak plate bodies.
3. Most of the cheaters on Runescape use bots to woodcut for them. A bot is a programmed system that can do something, otherwise tedious, for you automatically. There are often too many other players (or bots) at the popular yew trees for you to make lots of money, and I would recommend having at least 75 woodcutting to “out cut” the other players there, otherwise with too many other players it could take minutes before you even get one log. Yew logs are worth 350 – 400 gp each on the Grand Exchange, so if you had 1k yews you would make up to 400k! The yews near the Grand Exchange are usually the most popular because there are bank close to them than any other yew tree in Runescape, so I would suggest using the ones near Falador.
2. This is the one I am best at, rune crafting. Airs runes are the best rune for F2Pers to make, as they are worth more than the other runes you are allowed to craft. Airs also multiply per essence at every 11 skill lvls (For example: at lvl 11 you make 2 airs per essence, 22 you make 3 airs per essence, 33 you make 4, 44 you make 5, 55 you make 6 ect.). Even though you have to buy rune essence to craft airs, the profit is much higher if your rune crafting lvl is 44 or higher – you’re at the break-even point when at lvl 22. If you are at lvl 55 RCing, you can make about 2.5k per every 1 – 2 minutes.
1. And here we are, bounty hunting! This is the evolved version of pking that Jagex came out with a few months ago. Although a few wish that the old version of pking would come back, I doubt it will as they are adding other types of dangerous mini games. It is dangerous because if you die, you will lose all your stuff! Although if you play it well (I never have) and are lucky, you can make millions in one day. I have seen many videos of pros killing other people with full god armor (Wow that’s over 1 million right there!). So it’s definitely a possibility you should consider when deciding on a fast way to make money in Runescape. It DOES require a bit of patience to figure out what are the best combinations of skill lvls, but even so, the rewards are great!
Thanks for reading, I’m also going to make a P2P mini guide as well in about a week or so. It will be called the Top 10 Best Ways To Make Millions On Runescape (P2P) as there are sooo many other ways to make mulah on P2P.
I hope this has been helpful and thanks for reading!
