View Your Total Hours of Playing in RuneScape with Adventurer’s Log
This is a new unreleased feature that’s leaked to several numbers of players in the forum.

Example of a Player’s Adventurer’s Log
Adventurer’s Log has not been released officially by Jagex. However, Jagex moderator have decided to give the info in the Runescape forum. A lot of players have become excited with the release of this feature. It’s because they have been eager to have a profile page that can be shared by everyone, even those who are outside Runescape.
It’s too bad that this is a member-only feature. However, with the high demand from the free players, perhaps this will become available to both member and free player later.
Here are the features in the Adventurer’s Log :
Avatar and Total Hours of Playing

Player’s Avatar and Playing Duration
You can get an avatar by taking a picture in a photo booth at south-west outer wall of Falador. Note that you will not be able to take a picture if you wear a borrowed item. This avatar will also present when you’re posting in forum.
The gender and total hours of playing also visible in Adventurer’s Log. However, you must log in into your profile to view your total hours of playing. This make viewing other people’s total hours of playing become impossible. The total hours is counted for the time you have spent in the game, not by the time since you have registered into the game. In image above, the player has played for about 611 hours.
Your and Your Friend’s Recent Events
Your recent events
In your recent events, you can track your new changes to your character. This is especially useful for other people who want to look into your profile. When they read your recent events, they’ll know what you’ve been doing lately. Events can be levelling up your skills, finishing a quest or killing a boss monster like Mithril Dragon.

Your friend’s recent events
This will be useful to know what are your friend’s recent activities. This is almost the same feature like in Facebook where we can track up our friend’s activity in the home section. So, even without asking your friend, you’ll be able to know if they have finished a very difficult quest or if they have just reached level 99 in some skill.
Skill Stats
A Player’s Skill Stats
The great thing about this feature is that it will also show the levels that are below 30 or not listed in the highscore. It’s great since a lot of players wanted to know all of their friend’s skill levels, not only those that are listed in the highscore. The Compare With Me button will direct you to highscore page and just like usual, level that are below level 30 or not high enough to be ranked won’t be visible.
Quest Stats

Quest that player hasn’t started yet.
It can be useful if you want to compare yourself with your friend. Normally, you will have to ask the player what are the quests that he or she have finished. Even if the player answers it, there’s a chance that he or she could lie to you. This feature will make it far easier. You could even see the quests that has been started by your friend. It can freak other players who don’t know about this feature if you ’spy’ on their profile and tells his or her started quests.
Friends List

Second page of a player’s Friend List
You could only see this section if you’re logged in. That’s mean other players cannot see your friends list. I’m personally don’t mind if my friend’s list is read by other people since it will be just like Facebook or MySpace where people tend to open a friendship with anyone. By clicking a name in the list, you’ll be brought to your friend’s profile.
Privacy Settings

Privacy Settings Interface
If you don’t want your profile to be viewed publicly you could set your privacy settings to prevent it. If you set it to Friends Only, only the players in your friends list can view your profile and track up your recent activities. If you set it to private, only you can view your own profile. By default, the privacy settings is set to Public which will make all players able to view your profile.
Other Features
I expect that there will be more features added to the Adventurer’s Log. Cool new features that me and a lot of my friends wanted are :
- Ability to choose an option to make the total hours of playing and friends list become publicly available.
- Ability to post comment or wall post on each other.
- Blogging feature that make player able to share their thoughts in their profile.
- About me section that will make player able to let people know their bio andinterests.
- Making Adventurer’s Log available both to Member and Free Players.
- Info about when’s the player joined the game, total monster killed, and in-game wealth.
I really hope that these features will be added. If they’re added, I’m really sure the popularity of Runescape will increase a lot since it will not only become an online game, but also a social networking website.

long, I really need to catch up! Thanks for the update.
There are a lot of new features added in these 2 months. If this Adventurer’s Log is released and those other features I wanted are added, I think this will become the best update ever in a Runescape history.

Wow this update will rock…
A nicely written article as always
Awesome Article! But that is to be expected. First things first, I need to get that RS Membership. This looks like an awesome update, which I really want to be able to take advantage of.
This is a great article. I really wish that I had RS membership too so I can have some fun with these games too.
@masteropeter : I agree. This will become the best update in these few years.
@Rouge Weasel : Of course, by getting an RS Membership, you’ll be able to get this feature and many others. Good luck on that!
@CA Johnson : This game is really fun, many players have spent more than 10,000 hours in the game. It’s because a lot of features in the game can keep player playing without having a thought to stop.
Thank you for all comments! I really appreciate them!
great article with loads of information, would really love to game sometime. thanks for the share

Thank you for your comments!
thats not much my friend has played for 1145 hours (50 days) over 2 years thats an average of 2hours a day. Glad im not members kinda don’t want to know how many hours iv played. lol
Yup, compared to most member player, I’m just a newbie. One of my friend was even worst, about 335 days and 12 hours. He has played for over 4 years.
i dont want to check my adventurer log or the time played numberr will freeze my pc!
Freeze your pc? I don’t think so. This feature is even lighter than the Runescape application itself. It’s as light as a highscore page so if you can play Runescape, you can check this feature too.
Thank you for your comment, Orlando!
very kool for gamers!!
Thank you
