Are you having trouble in getting the right guide for you that is aswell instructive as helping? Well, fear no longer because you have found the right guide. This guide wil show you how to get your smithing level from one to level 18.

Getting started

what you wil need if you want to play:

-A free runescape account (or member if you have enough money)

Here’s how you can make one:

first surf to http://www.runescape.com/

>>in the midle of the screen you will see a bar with a few options you can choose from.

>>Hover above “Account” and click on Create New Account.(This lies

between “Upgrade Your Account” and “Account Management”

You will now see some textboxes wich you have to fill in. Do this.

When you are finnished filling in the textboxes, you must press on the “Continue” button.

Now there is suppose to be a page where you can fill in your email address (if you want to) and you

must aggree with the “terms & conditions” and the “privacy policy”.

After doing that continue on and start playing.

Your first steps in runescape:

When you logged on you will see the window where you must costumize your character.

(Customize your character so you like it because you will se it alot).

After you have done that you wil start a quest where you must help Sir Vant defeat dragon.

(I will not explain the whole quest, but the instructions they give yoiu are pretty clear.)

After you defeat the dragon and you must find a way out of the cellar you get 2 options: mining your way free, or cuting the roots to freedom.

Finaly getting started:

Once you are in the real world you msut get hold of a pickaxe.

You can get one for free at bobs axe-shop (His shop is south of lumbrige castle)

How many ores do i need?

In total you will need 189 copper ores and 189 tin ores

(But dont stress, you can get them all at ones ore you can work your way up gently).

What wil i be able to make?

If you go to the skills-tab you will see alot os skills, but we are going to work with smithing.

The smithing icon is in the top-left corner and is represented by an anvil.

Click on it and a window will apear with all the info on smithing that you will need just for now.

(This will also happen when you click on another icon).

Smelting an ore:

If you want to smelt copper and tin into a bronze bar, you must go to a furnace. The easiest way to a furnace is from the bank on lumbridge castle to the furnace in lumbridge north of the castle.

When you are there, right-click on the furnace and select  ”smelt furnace”.  Now you should see a whole list of bars you can smelt in the lower-left corner of the screen. choose “smelt bronze bar” and then fill in 14 bars (Because you should have 14 copper and 14 tin ores in your inventory).

Turning a bar in a weapon.

After you have smelted your bars, you must go to an anvil (the anvils at the west entrance of varock are recomended.

When you arrive at an anvil, select a bar and click on the anvil. Now you will see a whole list of weapons you can make. If you right-click on an item in the list you can select the number of weapons you want to make.

So, what can i do with all this?

If you like fighting, but don’y have enouge money to buy full armour kits, then you can make your own weapons and fight with glory.

But you can also make weapons whom you can sell with a 100% profit.

There are alot of advantages when you do smithing, and if you find the right one for you, you will become a great smither and a rich player on runescape.
