What is RuneScape?

What is Runescape?
Runescape is a game which is known as ‘Massively Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Game’ (MMORPG).
This game is different to the usual games we play on other consoles. On Runescape, there are no storylines and no fixed missions. This means that players can choose to do anything inside the game as they have the freedom of playing their own way. Players will face different monsters, challenges and missions through each stage and can socialize with other players by chatting, trading and playing activities.
How do you learn the skills?
At the beginning of the game, players start learning the very basic skills through the tutorial. After this they can find other tutors who will help them develop their skills to higher levels.
Who created the game and when was it released?
Someone named Andrew Gower had created the game in 1998 but was released three years later in January 2001. For me, this seems to be a long time ago and I think the game has surpassed its time. We see better games than this during our present generation. So do not be surprised if this game is a little boring. There are so many skills to be learned in Runescape. These skills help players perform different types of activities throughout the game play. The more skills you learn, the more points you gain and the higher your level rises which means a greater chance of finding better products and materials. These products can be sold to other players for money.
No cheating is allowed!
The creators of Runescape have set a number of rules in the game. These rules cannot be broken by any player or else they may get banned forever. Each player can report toJagex if any other player is breaking a rule. Despite the rules being held, thousands of people have been deleted because of cheating. So remember not to cheat!

Have heard about it, but since I am not much into video games (except for word or puzzle games), this is the first time I learned about it.
