Working RuneScape Bots After Nuke-day! (Powerbot)

So we all know that the nuke-day has been disabled all the hacks, but..

Most of the people still have the trust that the bot clients will run soon. I, moreover, don’t believe the words of the developers until I see sufficient proof.

Powerbot (rsbot) says:

RSBot is currently being updated.

Estimated update: 22nd November 6th December

What has happened?

On the 25th October Jagex released an update to RuneScape which broke many bots. RSBot is an injection bot which uses ASM, so while this presents a major setback we are confident that we can overcome the new obstacles.

Why is it taking so long?

The game client uses new and sophisticated obfuscation techniques such as casting, arithmetic overflow and randomised client generation to name just a few. Our developers have studied each new method in great depth and have tuned their code to adapt to these changes. Their work has been tested retrospectively against previous client versions to ensure the robustness and reliability of our algorithms.

Jagex have stated that they are planning more anti-bot updates in the near future. This is why we have to take the difficult yet responsible decision of artificially delaying our releases until we can be sure that there are no more big surprises. In doing this, we are ensuring the safety of all our users.

Apparently, you will have to wait till the 6th of December until they show their proof. When you do have proof, please comment it here!
