Tips, Hints, and Tricks: Achievements and The Easiest Way to Rack Them Up.

Achievements

Achievements, as well as giving you bragging rights, also give you much needed stat points. At the time of writing this, there are currently 39 different achievements in game. These range from giving gifts, to depositing money, to winning fights.

The Easiest Way To Rack Up Those Achievements

  1. One Down -  Earned by mastering at least one stage in New York. – This is an easy achievement that is guaranteed to come with time. Just stick it out and you’ll have it in no time.
  2. What Else You Got? – Earned by mastering all New York job tiers. – Again, this is another achievement that comes with time. You will get this eventually.
  3. Unstoppable – Earned by winning 15 fights in a row. – This achievement can be done in two ways. 1. You can just wait, the wins will come with time. or, 2. Find someone who is level 1 or 2 on your mafia list, this would be someone who has logged in maybe just once or twice and doesn’t play. Copy their profile link, remove them from your mafia and attack them 15 times in a row.
  4. Armed and Dangerous – Earned by owning 10 tommy guns. – This can be earned by either buying the guns in a mass purchase or just by buying them slowly. Don’t forget that you can sell them back after you have gained the achievement.
  5. Personal Fleet – Earned by owned 500 town cars. – This like the guns can be earned by buying in bulk or buying them slowly. Unlike the guns however, there is very little chance that you will need 500 town cars so selling them back after gaining the achievement is ideal.
  6. Collector – Earned by vaulting any collection set. – This is another achievement that will come with time. Alternatively, if you have a fair sized mafia of advanced members you can just add each item to your wishlist one at a time then swap it out for another once you have received that item.
  7. Curator – Earned by vaulting at least nine New York collection sets. – This, like the one above can be earned by waiting or by begging, its your choice.
  8. Wing Man – Earned by helping out 10 friends who call for backup. – This achievement can be earned either by just clicking to help whenever there happens to be a request on your wall or you can spend an hour or so refreshing your wall every now and then, although not guaranteed to work, it can speed up the process.
  9. Mercenary – Earned by helping out 200 friends who call for backup. – Like the achievement above you can wait or you can spend some time on your wall.
  10. Giver – Earned by sending ten gifts to your mafia. – This is an easily achievable goal just by playing or you can just send junk items like brass knuckles, pistols etc to tally up gifts sent. If you have a friend after the achievement also you can just send gifts back and forth until you reach 10 and then 501.
  11. Spreading it around – Earned by sending 501 gifts to your mafia. – Like above either wait or send trash.
  12. Banana Republic – Earned by owning all six businesses in Cuba – There is little you can do to speed up this achievement other than collecting every 6 or so hours so that you loose no money to the bank and you earn enough money per collection to upgrade and then buy new businesses. Also fighting other members in cuba can earn you lots of C$ which can be spent on upgrading or taking over businesses.
  13. Havana Hat Trick – Earned by master at least one job tier in Cuba. – You can either wait until you have mastered all of the NY tiers or you can jump straight into Cuba when you are a high enough level and master the first tier for the extra stat point.
  14. No Razors Needed – Earned by vaulting the entire beard collection. – This can be earned either by doing the jobs that drop the beards or by begging each one from your mafia.
  15. Like A Hurricane – Earned by winning 1000 fights in Cuba. – To earn this achievement, just jump straight into Cuba when you can and make sure that you spend all of your stamina fighting here. Make sure you go back to NY to heal however. (Don’t forget to check out the fighting and robbing section.
  16. International – Earned by collecting over 1,000,000 Cuban Pesos. – There is little you can do to speed this achievement up, you can either wait until you are doing jobs and just gain it that way, you can fight in Cuba and hope you loot enough money, you can save up instead of upgrading your businesses with your C$. The choice is yours.
  17. Big Business – Earned by fully upgrading a single Cuban business other than the Bodega. – This can come quickly if you are lucky with money from fights, if not, don’t threat, you’ll get there eventually.
  18. Tycoon – Earned by fully upgrading all six Cuban businesses. – This is something that comes with time, be patient you’ll get it.
  19. Working Man – Earned by doing 20 jobs in one day. – This can be earned quickly if you go the energy build (See below) or it will come when you are a higher level if you play balanced (see below). Either way, you’ll get this achievement eventually with minimal effort.
  20. Dependable – Earned by doing a job every day for seven days. – This is just something to reward the regular players. If you don’t have time to play everyday, you can either just log on once a day to do a job or you can ask a friend to do this for you.
  21. Slum Lord – Earned by owning 30 Apartment Complexes. – This can be earned quickly or slowly its your choice once again.
  22. Cashing Out – Earned by selling 50 Mega Casinos. – This is an achievement that you won’t earn until late in the game. I was a higher level than 200 when I earned this achievement. If you’ve got the money, go for it. If not just be patient, you’ll have enough money one day.
  23. Knife Thrower – Earned by looting 10 Butterfly Knives. – This is more luck than anything, they drop from fights and jobs. Alternatively, you can get your friends to send you some.
  24. Uncle Sam – Earned by owning 50 Federal Agents. – Either beg them from your mafia or they can drop from a certain job and they also drop from fights.
  25. Bulletproof – Earned by surviving for over 60 minutes on the Hit List. – This is easier said than done. There is one way to earn it that is slightly easier however, that is to get a friend to hitlist you late at night / really early in the morning as there are less players on so there is less chance of someone carrying out the hit.
  26. The Best Offense… – Earned by defeating 6 attackers in a row. – This can be gained randomly through time or easily if you play the tank build (see below).
  27. Napoleon Complex – Earned by defeating someone with a bigger mafia. – This can be easily gained by beating someone with just 1 more mafia than you. As long you make sure that your mafia is equipped to the best that it can be, this achievement is easy to obtain.
  28. The First Is The Hardest – Earned by depositing $1,000,000 at once (after bank fee). – This is something that comes in time. Don’t forget that the bank will take 10% so you actually need to be depositing $1,100,000 at once.
  29. Personal Bailout – Earned by depositing $1,000,000,000 at once (after bank fee). – Again this comes in time, you need to deposit $1,100,000,000 at once because of the 10% banking fee.
  30. That’s With A “T” – Earned by depositing $1,000,000,000,000 at once (after fees). – Again in time you’ll get this don’t threat. Don’t forget you need to deposit $1,100,000,000,000
  31. Nest Egg – Earned by depositing $10,000,000,000,000 at once (after fees). – With time you’ll get this. You need to deposit $11,000,000,000,000 because of the banking fee. Don’t forget that this and the previous achievements you can withdraw money to bank it again to earn the achievement.
  32. Island Bound – Earned by travelling to Cuba. – As soon as you’re a high enough level just click to travel to Cuba and you’ll get this achievement. You don’t even have to do anything in Cuba just travel there.
  33. My Little Friend – Earned by gifting an M16A1 to a friend. – You can wait until you loot one, or beg one from your mafia then send it on to a friend.
  34. Big Spender – Earned by purchasing an item or service with Reward Points. – Nothing special really, just as the name says buy something with reward points. Many would consider this a waste of points but if you wait you can pick up a decent piece of loot sometimes so don’t rush into it.
  35. Treasure Hunter – Earned by finding a Rare Item in a Mystery Crate. – This is the hardest achievement to earn. You’ll need either 20 reward points to buy a single crate or you can save 55 reward points to get 3 crates. The type of crates will change over time but the drop rate remains the same. You have a 60% chance to loot a common item, a 30% chance to loot an uncommon item and a 10% chance to loot a rare item. You will loot one eventually but there isn’t anything you can do to speed it up.
  36. Getting the Crew Together – Earned by promoting friends to each Top Mafia position. – As long as you have at least 6 mafia members and at least one of each of the classes, you can do this easily.
  37. Crime C.E.O – Earned by assembling a Top Mafia with all players above level 100. – In time you’ll earn this either by your top mafia leveling or you can mass add players until you find 6 eligible members over level 100 to promote.
  38. What’s after Trillion? – Earned by depositing 999 Trillion Dollars. – This will come in time. I’m level 254 at the moment and I’m no-where near this target.
  39. That’s Amore – Earned by giving a Diamond Ring to any player below level 8. – When you have vaulted this collection, find someone who is lower than level 8 and send them the ring. That’s it, simple.
