The Complete Free Mafia Wars on Facebook Strategy Guide, Tips, Hints and Tricks: Part Six – The Daily Chance and Ticket Mastery Explained

The Daily Chance:

 The Daily Chance is a lottery type draw that takes place every week, in which you can participate with free tickets which you’re given once every 24 hours for opening up Mafia Wars. You can earn rewards both for taking part and for matching numbers with the draw at the end of the week.

Ticket Mastery, All The Glorious Details:

 Every time you submit a ticket, you get the chance to claim a ticket mastery bonus. The more tickets you submit, the better, supposedly, the ticket mastery bonus becomes. Once you claim a ticket mastery bonus, the count resets. Here’s a list of just what you can claim and how many tickets you need to submit to do so:

1 Ticket: A Random Collection Item – This is completely random, you can get a piece of any collection from NY or Cuba. As far as I know you cannot obtain a collection piece from Moscow, however, as Moscow has only recently been released, it could be possible that I, and others I have spoken to, have just not seen any of these drop.

2 Tickets: A Free Ticket – Just another ticket, which, when submitted, does contribute to ticket mastery.

3 Tickets: 5 Stamina Points – This refills 5 of your stamina points, or, if your stamina is full, gives you 5 on top, just like an energy pack does to your energy.

4 Tickets: 1 Skill Point – Just as it says on the tin. An extra stat point.

5 Tickets: 20 Energy Points – Again just as it says on the tin, gives you 20 energy points to spend. And again, this will add just on top of your energy, just like an energy pack, if your energy is full.

6 Tickets: Up To 5 Reward Points – This is completely random, you could get 1, you could get 5.

When making the choice as to what ticket mastery to claim, you must take into account how many tickets you think you are going to submit in the week. For example if you know that you can submit a ticket today, but you are out all day tomorrow and the day after and will have no time to come online but will be on for the rest of the week, then you will be able to submit only 5 tickets. 1 Skill Point is regarded as the best option for ticket mastery. However, if you are close to leveling then 20 energy points, or 5 stamina points may be the right choice if it will provide you with enough experience to level. Or, if there is a particularly good piece of loot on sale from the Godfather then taking the 5 Reward points may be a good idea. I, personally, take the 1 skill point and then the 5 stamina points if i am on every day in the week. If I’m not on every day then I aim for the skill point and then just take whatever I can with the other tickets that I have submitted.

Lottery Prizes:

 If / when you match the numbers on your ticket to the numbers drawn at the end of the week, you will win a reward. The rewards are issued as so:

1. Matching Ball: A Random Loot Item – This is, as far as I know, always a piece of consumable loot (See Shiny, Shiny Loot for more details).
2. Matching Balls: An Unused Daily Chance Ticket – Just as it says on the tin, another ticket.
3. Matching Balls: A Daily Chance Collection Piece – This is a piece of the rarest collection in the game. Matching 3 numbers, aside from trading, is the only way you can obtain this collection.
4. Matching Balls: 6 Reward Points – 6 extra reward points to spend at the Godfather.
5. Matching Balls: 200 Reward Points – 200 extra reward points to spend at the Godfather.
