Okay, now you can proceed: 

Ladies and gentlemen,

I have the honor and the pleasure to inform you that my little sister Catherine was not killed by J.P. Vandam.  He had no motive and at the time of the murder he didn’t wear the ring he only took off when sleeping or while he was having sex – the same ring that was printed in the cheek of my sister.

My little sister was not killed by the “deceived husband” Fred Hulot either, because in that case Pierre Dubois undoubtedly would have had photos of Fred entering the rendez-vous hotel or coming out of it. He had such photos of JP and if Fred had killed Catherine… exactly!

Catherine was murdered, ladies and gentlemen…

Not by Pierre Dubois, because he had no reason to kill the chicken with the golden eggs…

No, Catherine was murdered by me…

By her jealous big sister…

I wanted revenge… I wanted to punish my sister as well as JP. Pierre showed me the pictures he had presented to Fred, pictures of the passionate encounters between Catherine and JP. I have stolen JP’s ring while he was sleeping in my bed, I mailed him the mysterious message with a picture of the rendez-vous hotel… and I mailed a similar message to Catherine too. They both loved this sort of exciting love games… I made sure that Fred was aware of what was going on and then…

Catherine arrived and parked her car in the garage near the hotel. I hit her unconscious with the ring of JP, left her in the car, started the engine and closed the garage doors. When JP now would turn up, he would be caught by Fred, or by the police…

But what I had not taken into account, was Pierre hanging around… He was shooting his blackmail pics on the scene of the crime… and he could blackmail me too, now… or sell me an alibi.

We decided to provide us both an alibi. And then there was this enlargement crossing my plan… It showed clearly that JP didn’t wear his ring when he went to the rendez-vous hotel… And the only person who could have stolen the ring, was me.
