In need of some procrastination time? Look no further!
If you’re like me, playing some free games online is a great way to relax during work or between homework assignments. The internet is chock full of puzzle entertainment, but only so many are worth your precious procrastinating time.
- Globetrotter XL - Believe it or not, educational games can be fun too. Globetrotter XL teaches geography while being addicting at the same time. Is that even possible? It sure is! The object is to set a flag down on a world map as close to a location named. The closer you put your flag down, the more points you are rewarded.
- Mind the Blox - A great game for all ages and levels of mental prowess, mind the blox is just pure fun. The vivid colors and cute creatures add to the experience as you try to remove groups of two or more “things” from the board as new ones fall at an increasing pace. This game reminds me of the many similar puzzlers I’ve played throughout my days, and Mind the Blox has perfected them.
- Perfect Balance - This game promises to relax you with soothing music and cool colors. But, much like the Super Stacker Series, this game can get pretty frustrating. You need to rely less on smarts and more on a steady hand as you delicately place shapes onto a fixated block, trying not to let the tower fall.
- Totem Destroyer 2 - This game is absolutely fantastic. It is the sequel to Totem Destroyer. This game requires the player to use both brains and reflexes to get the golden idol safely to a spot near the ground. Physics based games are always a pleasure, and the Totem Destroyer games capitalize on the concept.
- Super Stacker 2 - Super Stacker 2, much like Totem Destroyer 2, is a sequel to Super Stacker. These games are great to blow off some steam, or if you get angered easily, drive you absolutely nuts. Equally geared towards thinking as computer motor skills, Super Stacker 2 is a personal favorite. You win a level by putting all shapes onto the screen and having them sit there for a given period of time. It may sound simple, but trust me, it’s not!
