Travian Beginner’s Guide

Perhaps I was not a very skilled travian player. But at least I didn’t get attacked often. I had only been attacked 6 times in my most successful account. Here are some tips for game play and a beginner’s guide for travian.

The Game

Travian is a very addictive browser game available to play for free.

Creating an account: First of all, find a server (A group of players play in a server, usually a server contains more than 20000 players.) that has started recently. This is usually written in the News Box column in the right hand side of the website. Example:”s6.travian.com has been started on the 11th of November as a Travian Version 3.1. “.
You can start in this server by clicking on register and selecting server 6(or any server you prefer). Nickname will be your user name. Type your email address and a password. Select a tribe. Beginners should select Romans, because it is the easiest. Choose a starting position, or select random. Click on “I accept the game rules and general terms and conditions.” check box, then on register. You
will have to confirm by email. Then, log in.

Tips

• Upgrade all resources to level 1 first. Then, build a cranny in the village center. Keep upgrading its level to 5. Then, follow the taskmaster’s quests.
• Try to log in once a day.
• Try joining a strong alliance
• Five cranny at level 10 are better than one.
• Try to make friends with neighbors.
• If someone attacks you, send him a message asking him to stop (politely!) and say that you are active.
• Read the game rules!
• Do not insult ANYONE
