The boy from Indonesia, Muhammad Al-Fatih Rida, featured as one of 12 winners of the national game design and programming as the U.S., the National STEM (Science Technology Engineering Math) Video Game Challenge.

Winners were announced on Wednesday (30 / 3) and then by the head of the ministry staff of the United States of Technology, Aneesh Chopra, in Washington. The competition was inspired by President Barack Obama to encourage students to explore the motivation of interest in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics by making use of computer games. National competition was first held in the U.S. was followed by 500 students from grades 5-8 (elementary and junior high school level). They were divided into four groups according to their respective grade education.
Muhammad Al-Fatih Rida, one of three winners in group grade 8, is a homeschool student from Beaverton, Oregon. He scored highest in this group. Fatih designed and programmed the game titled “Zuff’s Adventure”. This game designs by using the Game Maker software with the programming language GML (Game Maker Language), which tells the adventures of a character named Zuff.

Fatima, who was born in Indonesia and has lived in America since childhood with his parents, Mohammed Ridha and Queen Vanda Wardani, with three younger siblings, pleased with the programming games since it was introduced with computer programming and software design several years ago by his father who set educational background in the computer world.
Fatima and her sisters followed in her home homeschool programs provided by both of their parents based on the national curriculum, as well as with the following additional classes outside the home. Meanwhile, Islamic religious instruction classes and they follow the Koran in mosques. For the next school year, Fatima has been accepted at the School of Science and Technology in Beaverton, Oregon and will be entering grade 9 (high school).
