Plants vs.. Zombies
An article about the game Plants vs. Zombies.
I have always been a big fan of any zombie merchandise, be it a movie or a story. They are beings who turn into mindless flesh eating creatures because of a virus infection, an unexplainable act of nature, or a failed experiment. Either way, I just can’t seem to hold back my fascination with them. So it wasn’t a surprise for me to download a game with a zombie in the title. I am pertaining to the game Plants vs. Zombies. Ironically, it’s filled with fun and colorful graphics. But it still was able to pull out the enthrallment in me like any zombie merchandise would.
It follows a very simple plot and goal. Zombies have taken over your neighborhood and you defend your house with your amazing and diverse plants. Your main weapons are your plants that give different abilities. You start with a simple pea shooter plant. From the name itself, it shoots peas towards zombies that are approaching your house. At the end of each level, you will be able to receive a seed of another plant with another unique ability such as freezing the zombies or confusing them. As you go on with your adventure, you will be able to acquire more plants that are essential for your survival. The very basic and which is quite indispensable is the sunflower plant. It gives off sunlight which is the main “money” of the game. Accumulating sunlight would allow you to acquire other plants.
The zombies in this game are very fun to watch. Like their nemesis, the plants, zombies are also diversed. There are the normal walking zombies. There are zombies that are into marathons. There are even Elvis-Presly-turned-dancing-zombies. They really make the game more interesting.
There are also other modes of the game. You can play the puzzle mode, the mini games and the survival mode. Each have different way of game play. And each is fun to play.
The game might give you the impression of mindless clicks and endless dragging of the mouse, but this game allows you to bring out the tactician in you. You need to have the right tactics and the clear mind to conquer this game.
Over a million people have already played this game. And many are big fans of this. So why not give it a try? Try beating the zombies with your beautiful and pretty plants.
