Overview

This tower defense combines some of the most difficult aspects of this game category and it requires a lot of trial and error before the perfect placement of the towers is found in each stage. And trust me, you will “error” a lot! Even the stages are customizable by adding  “modules” that will block the way of the invading aliens and create a path that will benefit the most from the positioning of your towers. Everything requires detailed planning and no tower or module should be placed randomly as it will surely lead to your demise. The player must also take into consideration the slow turning rate of the defense towers as it will translate in to a lot of missed projectiles that will cost you precious life points.

Graphics

The stunning graphics with a high detail level will enrich in your gameplay experience. The Space invaders design style is a refreshing reminder of the “good old times, when gamers used to be gamers”. It is nice that from time to time someone pays respect to the old games by using similar design, showing that they are not forgotten and they still hold a place in our hearts.

Monetization Method

As a monetization method, additional “premium upgrades” are available that can be purchased and that will unlock new types of towers and new technologies. For example, the Burning Pack will unlock the Typhon Fury Flamer that will burn enemies and the Brightmark Searchlight that enables you to mark each unit for death (a very nice addition if we think of the low tower accuracy). Other available packs are Science Pack, Explosive Pack, Xenobiology Pack and each of them will bring new and fun ways of obliterating your enemies and will ease your way through the following levels. After the second mission, people will definitely incline to purchase them  as the increased difficulty of the game may prove too much for them. A true TD gamer will take it as a challenge though and with a LOT of patience will definitely find that perfect combination of towers that will maximize the damage output.
