Ragnarok Online

Ragnarok Online, also known as RO is a favorite among all people in the world, including me. I don’t really know how to express my love to this game (LOL). As I don’t really know if this is gonna be a good review, I will share with you this game’s online experience. Ragnarok Online is an MMORPG published by Gravity. As some people may say they don’t like it, it’s still one of the most original MMORPG out there.

About it’s graphics, they are not god-like, maybe neither “very good”, they are just fine. But graphics aren’t all, specially in a game like this one. It can be called a 2.5D since the world and maps itself are in 3D animated graphics, and the characters are in a 2D anime style. This is one quite interesting combination which makes another point for Ragnarok Online. RO graphics are also very friendly, allowing the player to get along well with the game.

The music in-game is beautiful. I can never get enough of it. Themes like Lutie’s, Prontera’s or Aldebaran’s are awesome. The music easily catches you, it’s relaxing and warm-hearting. It may get you to the point where you open the BGM folder of the game and get the music into your music player (something I did to my iPod by the way). Music is an awesome point of this game.

And what can I say about the gameplay? Let me start by telling you that the each character’s abilities and skills are highly customizable. You can make your character abilities as you want, this will result on rather being a very crappy player, or one of the bests out there. The skills you choose for your character are very controllable. You can chose from what level of the skill to cast, and even where or who to cast it on. Skills such as making a big lightning explode a huge area, or disappearing in the shadows and wait ’till when you want to attack your enemy from the back, or just disappear and run away, making an arrow shower on a bunch of enemies, those are just like none of the skills you may  have in Ragnarok Online. 

So I awesomely suggest you try this game out. But warning, it will surely catch you and become highly addictive.
