Rashes

Different types of rashes.

Have you ever had a rash? If so,how long did it last answhat was the cause? There are so many types of rashes out there. Trouble is deciding when to go the the Dr. If it ’s serious enough to warrant a Dr visit. There are rashes from foods, animals, illnesses, products, and so many more.

Rashes can be quite itching. So you have to be creative in finding ways to scratch or not to scratch. Think cool instead of warm. A cool bath or cool rag will go a long way to easing some of the itching. A warm cloth or bath will tend to aggravate the situation. I had to learn the hard way. Warm doesn’t work. It will make the rash more prevalent.

Some creams do help some, not much in my opinion, though. Sometimes shots are necessary if you have had a severe allergic reaction to something. Once you find the cause,it’s time to eliminate it if possible. Sometimes that can be accomplished and sometimes it can’t.

There are so many different things that can cause a rash. Some are contagious and some aren’t. With a contagioous rash,it can sometimes be more difficult to control. You have to keep other people away. Which is not always possible to do. Sometimes they are just contagious for the person with the rash. Meaning if you scratch the dreaded itch you can spread it to other parts of your body. That can be a worse situation.

With food rashes, you can eliminate the food or foods. With illness rashes, sometimes you will need a prescription and other medication to get rid of the rash. If your rash isn’t gone or getting better within a week you definitely need to see a Dr. Or if you have any kind of breathing problems, which can be a serious condition,PLEASE see a Dr.

Bottom line,if you aren’t sure sure about your rsh, plese have a Dr check it to be on the safe side. The trip to the Dr can cut down on your days suffering with the rash unneedlessly. Don’t wait too long to be seen.
