After chopping so many trees, and killing so many goblins, it’s understandable that a person might get a bit bored. So you decided to make a clan, huh? Well, let me just tell you that it’s alot of work but it has great rewards.

The first thing you need to do is think of a type of clan you want.

a.) skilling?

b.) merching?

c. ) combat?

d.) social?

After you choose your type of clan you should come up with a catchy name or acronym and then write down the rules of your clan on a sheet of paper. Also, write down the requirements your looking for in each of your recruits.Remember to write down a schedule of when/where you would like to meet.

After getting all the specifics about your clan down, you should make a website (this is optional). Here are a few websites that I have tried and have been satisfied with.

1. freewebs.com (average layouts, free, forums, blogs, etc.)

2. clansitemanager.com (above average layouts, free, picture area, RSVP’s, member area, forums.) I really enjoyed using this site

3. Geocities.com (another good site, free, alot more people see geocitie site than the above ones.)

Next, you should ask the people on your friends list to join your clan, and also look for new recruits. This is by far the MOST difficult part of making a clan. It is VERY difficult to find loyal F2P players that join the Clan Chat regularly. Try getting 3 people to advertise in different towns/worlds to get more people.

Figure out if you want to pay your troops/clan members a salary. I usually pay captains+ 5k a week and everyone else 3k a week. It’s not necessary, but it might keep more people in your clan.

Train, have events, make sure people participate and talk in your CC, the worst thing ever is when theres 30 people in  clan chat and no one talks. Get discussions going.
