Dragon Slayer Quest: Melzar’s Map Piece

Melzar’s map piece is the hardest out of the 3 map pieces to obtain. It would be wise to obtain this last.

This part requires you to kill a level 83 lesser demon (I think runescape changed the level so i think it’s a level 82 lesser demon but just to be safe plan for a level 83 lesser demon okay.)

Also if you have a high enough magic level brig three runes to telport anywhere your allowed. heres an example: if you have i think a level 25 magic level bring 1 fire rune, 3 air rune and 1 law rune so you can telport to varrock.

Okay to start this part of the quest obtain the maze key from the Champion Guild master. ( this guy isn’t the most helpfulest guy for the quest but he does help so don’t waste your time whit him except if you have no clue on what to do.)

After you get the maze Key go to a store, trade with people, locate food by your self, or go to the grand exchange and buy high level food if your really low leveled so you won’t die. (but leave enough room for the keys your going to get.)

Next go to Falabor by walking, deleting, or running and head south to port Remington. it would be wise to train before you do this so that your combat level is at a minimum of 50 with at least 31defence, 35strenght, and 30attack at the minimum. ( train these higher then this it may take longer but at least level them all to at least 40-55 if they are all high then this when you start the quest you can consider the quest beat.)

next when you get to rummington look at the world map you will see that Melzar’s maze is basically above it. Now go and kill the rats till you find a red key. ( if any of your levels are whitin 1000-2000 experience points of leveling up you should stay by the rats until it levels up because the monsters aren’t going to get any friendlier from there.)

After you get the red key aim to get a second one and head to the north door to the left.

Next kill the ghosts until you obtain a orange key now got to the north  and go to the right and go down 1 door. and climb the ladder.( it would be smart to obtain a second key.)

then kill the skeletons till you get an orange key and head south to the left door and climb down the ladder that are to the right. (obtain another one of these keys)

Next head down the ladders till you see the zombies( if i remember correctly the one closes to the north door has the key so try that on first.) (then obtain a second key from it) (also don’t forget to keep your hit points up) (also before you enter through the blue door analyze all of the things you have and make sure you have a red , orange, yellow, and blue key extra in your bag and look at your next enemy Melzar’s the mad and don’t worry about the lesser demon yet)(also it’s okay to drop the red key since it the easiest to obtain)

Now enter the door and kill Melzar’s the mad also he’ll say a couple of random this like he has to feed his pet rock.( the good thing about him is that every couple of secs he drops cabbage which will heal you by a point, yes a point isn’t allot but when dealing with a level 43 monster it can be the line between death and life in this battle.)

After you kill him leave through he exit door to the left and make sure you have the key Melzar’s dropped. Next go out side and eat the cabbage and onions out side till your hitpionts are full again. and look at your states and if any of them are close to leveling up kill the rats until it levels up. (don’t pick up any new keys cause they’ll mess you up.) ( but before entering the maze again if you have free spaces go to the nearest bank or anywhere you can get food and add it to your inventory but keep all the keys.

Now go back to Melzar’s maze and use the keys to enter the doors again and try not to mes up, also when you get to the zombies pause and get ready to run pass Melzar’s. Now run pass him and get ready for an epic battle. now battle the LESSER DEMON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! after you kill him get the key and heal quickly because he’ll return rather quickly so be careful now go through the green door and open the chest. Congratulations!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! you now have Melzar’s map piece!!!!!!!!!!!!!
