Breath Of Fire (Super Nintendo/Game Boy Advance)

When I was younger I rushed to the store the first day Golden Sun came out only to find they already sold out. I knew i couldn’t leave empty handed so I asked what other RPG’s are as good as Golden Sun is supposed to be and he immediately said Breath Of Fire. In Breath Of Fire you find yourself controlling the main character Ryu on his quest to defeat the Dark Dragons. On his journey he encounters a handful of ally’s (Pictured below) to aid him on his journey. The game’s main flaw is lack of character development however every character’s ability to interact with the environment differently makes up for it, adding dozens of side quest’s and mini games for example the fish character Gobi can breath underwater making the deep sea accessible.

Elder Scrolls: Oblivion (Ps3, Xbox 360, Windows)

Ok this is when i should mention this list is in no particular order because this game would have to be top 3. In the game you find yourself in control of the hero that you design and choose your own destiny. You may complete the main quest or travel the world of Cyrodiil becoming a bandit and evading the police or maybe joining the ranks of the police yourself? There are never ending possibilities with in this game and no limits to the things you can do. There is also an expansion disk entitled Shivering Isles which allows you to access a whole new world within Cyrodill adding another 30+ plus hours of quest’s, missions, and tasks. If you like Role Playing Games I suggest you don’t miss this one.
