Basic Ringmaster Guide
My guide of becoming a ringmaster, job changes, builds and my thoughts of ringmasters.
A Ringmaster is the other second job class for the Assist class. This class is known as the support class of
Flyff, and their buffing skills only emphasize that. A Ringmaster usually partners with people much higher level
then them and helps them out by buffing and healing them, in exchange for getting a share of their partners exp, allowing them to level at a much faster rate than other classes.
There is also another type of Ringmaster, the one that uses their buffs to fight instead of fully support. While slightly less effective than bps, the Battle Ringmaster (or BRM) is a powerful force to be reckoned with although i do not suggest it until over lvl 100.
becoming a Assist
Assist: In order to become an assist, you must reach level 15. Then, you go to the assist drillmaster in Flaris (next to the Mercenary drillmaster in East Flarine). Talk to him, and hell tell you to go kill 10 small aibatts in seven minutes. very easy done.
Once you kill the aibatts, come back to the drillmaster, and youll have completed the first part. Then, he will tell you to bring 5 forforms to the assist master (npc in North Flarine, next to the mercenary master). You should have gotten these already while you were trying to get to 15.
Once youve given the forforms to the assist master, youll be told to go find the high-dwarfpet, which are located in the lawolf area, just before the grown-up lawolves. I cant remember his name, but hell have a question mark over his hea, so youll spot him easily.
Once youve spoken to him, youre given a label of technique. Do not lose it Without it, you cant complete your job quest. Now then, you are told to defeat a mob called Chaner, a scorpion-looking mob located in Madren town (located near the demians), just over the hill by the bridge. Kill him, and go to the assist drillmaster. The lady beside him should have a question mark over her head, so talk to her. Go through all the dialogue; and a blue light should shine over you. Congratulations! You are now an assist! Youre stat points have been reset and have recieved more skill points.
Becoming a RingMaster
Ringmaster: To become a Ringmaster, you must be a level 60 assist. Go to darken (the city), and talk to Ellend, the Ringmaster Master. Shell tell you to kill 20 drillers to prove you ability. Go and kill 20 normal drillers, not small or captain.
Once you kill them, go back to Ellend. She will give you a Successor of Hero scroll, and tell you to go take this to Ringmaster-Wiseman Clamp. Before you can do this, you must get the seal of Aenn, which has been stolen by Ren. Ren is located in Saintmorning, between the Bulcrows and Dumbulls. He looks like a demian, so hes easily spotted. Kill him, and the seal will be auto-dropped into your inventory.
Go to Flaris, to the fountain of dead person (by the bangs), and speak to Clamp. He will tell you to deliver the seal to Tesha, leader of the Kryon soldiers. She is located in East Flarine, next to Losha (the food seller). Talk to her, and shell take the seal from you, and tell you to find the Ringmaster priest Heedan, located by the Irens in Cendil (Darkon 3). Before you can speak to her, you must find the teardrop of Aenn, which is held by Hunter X. Hunter X looks like a giant Trangsforma, and is located by the Trangsformas. Kill him, and the teardrop will be auto-dropped into your inventory.
Now, go to Heedan, and she will take the teardrop, and give you her blessing. She will tell you to defeat the Venel Guardian, and take its heart. Venel Guardian is located in Guardiane, all the way at the end of Darkon 3. Open your map, and look at Guardiane. You see where it says Room of Guardian? The Venel Guardian is located exactly where the R is. Be sure to take quite a few star candies and/or pills, as this is a very tough fight for a ringmaster, unless u have a freind to help you kill it to low health and relog so you can finish it off.
Once you beat him, the heart will auto-drop into your inventory. Now, go to the back of Guardiane, to a large platform with 8 Guardians on it. Find, and speak to the Ringmaster Guardian Romvoette. After a bit of dialogue, and blue light will shine over you. Congratulations, you are now a Ringmaster! You have been given 100 skill points, so use them wisely! And, unlike the assist job change, you do not get a restat.
Ringmaster Builds
Because Ringmasters are known as the support class, they have a lot of int for high amount of mp and longer buff timers.
Int Builds
Pure int builds are the main builds that a Ringmaster uses. It gives them a high amount of int, and increases their heal amount and buff timers. 15 str, 15 sta, 15 dex, xxx int. Thats the main build for most Ringmasters. A build like this gives you the title of Full Support (FS for short), which basically means you buff and heal players much higher than you, making them fight better, and in exchange, you get a share of their exp, allowing you to level up very quickly.
Another int build is the sta and int build. 15 str, 20-40 sta, 15 dex, xxx int. This build allows you to survive an attack from an aggressive mob, giving you the time to escape while your partner fights the mob chasing you. quite good for ClockWorks when your over lvl 80.
A CW RM is a Ringmaster that joins up with a guild, and fight a powerful mob known a Clockworks (CW for short). 15 str, 30-45 sta (is what i recommend), 15 dex, xxx int. This build, combined with your buffs, allows you to survive hits from Clockworks, provided that you heal constantly. This build also allows you to survive a lot more when partnering regularly. Although, you will need some heavily upgraded equipments to survive CW (which you should have anyways if you CW regularly).
once over lvl 100 you may choose to restat to a BRM (battle RingMaster Build)
BRM Builds
There are certain people out there who choose to use their Ringmaster to fight instead of heal and support. xxx str, 30-40 sta, 61 dex, 15 int. This build takes advantage of the maximum level of the skill cannonball to reach the 2nd speedbreak (see misc. stuff for speedbreak info).
Another build uses the 3rd speedbreak for more speed and accuracy. xxx str, 30-40 sta, 96 dex, 15 int. This build also uses the skill cannonball to reach the 3 speedbreak.
Another build is what i belive to be the most effective, the full Str builde. xxx str, 15 sta, 15 dex, 15 int. I like this build because although u have a high risk of dieing because of low sta, you kill much much faster.
