Flyff Acrobat Build and Leveling Guide
An Acrobat leveling guide from level 1-60.
So you want to be an Acrobat…
I have had a few requests to make a guide dealing specifically with the Acrobat classes.
Let me first start off by saying that in order to be a successful Acrobat you will want to know what second job change you want to become. The problem is that Acrobats have three not two job changes. The changes are:
Jester – Uses yoyo to fight monsters and players. Purely for 1vs1 not for Area of Effect. This class is pretty slow at leveling, and it never truly beats bow users until level 90 through 105. On the other hand this class hands down is the better for PvP, and because it’s not the most popular choice on most servers the armor and weapons are cheaper than for bow users.
The Jester bonus is a 4 percent critical rate for every 10 points on dexterity.
Goods:
- Good critical rate.
- Amazing at PvP.
- Affordable.
- Good for Giant Hunting.
Bads:
- Very slow at leveling.
- Don’t get good until level 90.
- The self buffs can only be used 1 at a time.
- You may need to buy highly increased (+8) or more armor to beat out bow users.
Bow Jester (BJ): Let me first start out saying that this is not a real class; it’s the Jester class with a special build. BJ’s are Jesters except that they use a bow as the name suggests. The only build for a BJ is Pure dexterity, anything you here from others is a lie and untrue (I have a BJ and I know how they are built).
BJ’s use the Jesters critical hit rate to an advantage (at level 60 you should have 135 dexterity (if I did my math right) that should amount to a 52 percent critical rate). Keep in mind that BJ’s require a Full Support (FS) assist to properly level. Also keep in mind that at level 90 BJ’s are less powerful than there Yoyo Jester counterparts, and most people have to restart to a Yoyo Jester.
Goods:
- Amazing critical rate.
- Pretty good at PvP.
- You level from 60 -70 fast.
- Good at giant hunting.
Bads:
- Everyone will hate you because many people think that BJ’s cheat!
- Expensive (Gbow, high plus on level 45 armor, good equipments, probably a pet because you don’t want to waste time picking up your drops, and a Restate if you plan on getting past level 90).
- You need a full support.
- You will die a lot.
- Alike Mercenary, it gets boring.
Ranger – Uses bow like they were meant to be used. The Ranger is the best Area of Effect (AoE) class that was created. Rangers get elemental based Area of Effect (Fire, Ice etc.). You also have the ability to get to 80 really fast.
Pros:
- You are most respected class because you aren’t a BJ.
- You get some pretty nice Area of Effects.
- Depending on you build (30-70 stamina) you won’t die a lot.
- Pretty cheap because armor isn’t that much and the only expensive thing is a Gbow.
Cons:
- You won’t be able to level past 80 as fast as you were leveling before.
- You are not as good as Jesters in PvP.
- You need a FS to level effectively.
Picking Your Build
Picking you build should be the main thing you consider when you are a new acrobat. The only stat you won’t use is Intelligence. For a Jester you will have strength stamina and dexterity (a common build for a “Cookie-Cutter”(Yoyo Build) is 30-40 stamina 63 dexterity and the rest in Strength.) For a Ranger the general build is 30-70 stamina and the rest in Dexterity.
Now that you know what you want to be, and you know how your build should be, you are now ready to become a good acrobat. This guide will tell you the most common and fastest way to level 60.
Level 1 – 15:
I suggest that you refer to my guide which can be found
here, or searching for other articles I’ve written. for getting past your vagrant levels.
Level 15-30
Congratulations, you are now an acrobat. To level to 30 you are going to need one skill no matter which class you are going to be, and that’s a skill called Junk Arrow (which means you need to buy a bow). If you have money to buy a mental necklace then max Junk Arrow, and if not then get it to about level 10.
You will be “Spamming” (using over and over again) Junk Arrow. This will require you to buy a lot of refreshers, but the leveling will be fast. I suggest when you get to 15 to go to Saint Morning by blink-wing. Then you should head to the bangs that are located by the duel arena. But before you go fighting run into the arena on server 1 and ask someone to buff you.
Now go fight bangs until level 19, and then move to Wagsaacs, and then Mias. You should be spamming Junk Arrow like crazy, and you should be going through refreshers like crazy as well. Once you get to 23 Head over to Pumpkins, and then Mantis, And then Giggle Boxes the road to level 30 is boring but it’s worth it.
Level 30-45
You are now level 30 MAX JUNK ARROW (if you are using a bow), those that are going to use Yoyos should continue to stat themselves appropriately and Max Yoyo mastery and Crossline.
Yoyos should spam Crossline from now on. Bow users should spam maxed junk arrow.
Note: Do not max Bow Mastery, it isn’t anything compared to Yoyo mastery.
You should also get basic points in slow step and fast walker and Dark Illusion for the skill Perfect Block.
To level to 45 you will need to start by killing hobos until level 34 then move to Totemias, and then move on to Cardpuppets. You should now be about 40 and therefore you should now move to Rhisis Island (outside of Saint Morning). Kill Tombstone bearers until 42 and then skip to Basques until 44 – 45.
After that go to Pranksters until level 45. Now that you are level 45 you get a pretty amazing skill Perfect Block Max It. Maxed Perfect Block gives you +20% block rate which can really help you.
Also now that you are 45 you should be able to buy full Hyper/Cruiser and a Flaming Bow (Or the level 45 yoyo). These will really help you level to 60.
Level 45 – 60
Continue to train on pranksters untill level 48+, and then move to Leyenyas in Darkon 1, and 2. You should now continue to either spam Cross-Line or Junk Arrow. Just keep moving from one monster to the next making sure that the monster you are fighting is at least 2-5 levels higher than yourself. When you get to level 55 start killing Steel Knights untill 58. Then skip volts, and move to Elder Guards. Once you get to about level 55 don‘t kill Crane Machinery they are hard and you will die a lot. Instead, go to darken 3 and kill Grrs or Dumps.
Congratulations you are now 60. Go do that job change quest and show that guardian who’s boss!

Cool, but what skills are best for BJ? What do I do and how do I level after lvl 60 and what do I change my stats and skills to when I hit lvl 90 and change to become a yo yo Jester?
It would be best ,if you plan be a ranger, to not max junk arrow since rangers already have excellent arrow skills.. level it only to the requirements of the next skill which is bow mastery..
being a ranger (lowlvl, 15-30) doesnt mean you need a FS. True its better but if you max junk arrow, everything dies b4 they hit you. Plus, u need some int for ranger because all their skills use mp. other than that, its a good guide!

The level 45 set is the best. Make sure to use some upgrades on it. (If you want to sell it back, don’t element it, just + it)
i am currently at lvl 64 ranger i do enjoy moobing monster. as of now i can moob 5 crane monsters with buffs.

im lvl 87, i use h.bow+8, cruiser set+8 (4/4) adds attck! w/ bonus stats in cruiser suit dex+3 sta+2 and cruiser boots sta+3 str+2 and i have RM to boost me,and i kill Glaphan, pure dexterity yeah baby yeah,

Their practically useless, here in the philippines we eat Bow Jesters for lunch, its the dumbest subclass ever…
sure it has a high critical rate but againts a ranger even with at 5 level advantage it would still lose…
if you want to have the best character, choos the ranger…
- max the bow mastery
- max the perfect block
- max any AOE skill ( Regardless of Job )
- MAX THE SILENT SHOT!
with the silent shot, even a lvl 100 BP cant hurt you…
perfect block has a 75% chance of blocking 3-5 Hits…
it cancels out the BP’s “One Hit Wonder” (cant remember the name of the skill) skill…
ITS THE BEST AOE AND PVP CHARACTER…

why max junk arrow if you’re planning to use a yo-yo — wouldn’t that be a waste of skill?

I don’t know if phFlyFF is all that different from eFlyFF, but Rangers are one of the worst PvP classes in the game. Having had three myself and several friends who play a Ranger, I can honestly say that Rangers are only decent against MP-dependant classes.
Sure, Silent Arrow stops Asalraalaikum- but can it stop the onslaught of ordinary melee or SonicHand that will be sure to follow if Asal fails? I doubt it.
Rangers lack the HP to defend themselves and the attack power to eliminate their enemies before dieing themselves. Our damage is easily pilled or fooded away, and Block Rate in PvP is partially cancelled by Hit Rate, which is easily obtainable via Accuracy or an upgraded set.
In a 1v1 fight, Rangers have an edge against most classes, but high-STA AoE Knights/Billposters/Psykeepers are practically unkillable because of their HP and defense. An AoE Psykeeper would eventually lose if your Silent Arrow isn’t mastered, but until then they’ll most likely be running away from you while using pills/food.
Blades are relatively easy to kill. Dark Illusion -> Triple Shot -> Fire Arrow -> Auto Shot. If they’re built for levelling 1v1, they’re dead instantly- pure STR for the lose. An AoE Blade is another problem, but I’ll let you figure that out on your own.
To everyone else, if you like PvP, don’t make a Ranger- and chances are you don’t have the attention span to do it well anyway so make a bowJester instead.

On the Subject of PvP rangers, They cant kill any thing. My BJ owns any rangers that enter the
Arena. same with bps, Rangers go down fast under a stun, Even there block rate cant save them.
I am not a ranger hater, they are fine AoEs but in pvp they fail.

ty now i`m a bow jester with f-bow. it`s so much better then 1on1 ranger. i`ve 59 crit on lvl 63. that`s nice. with haste i´ve got 93 attack speed.
They can’t away “the cheat” thats imposible. Its just like saying in world of warcraft, taking away a rogues “stunlock”(for all of you who do not know that that means, its a statagey for a rogue class to be as cheap as posible and control the whole match) and btw there are lots of BJs. They will just leave like FS assist left when they came out with SP bar in order to get skill points when FS could not lvl their skills.

and to add to that.. you are a pure sta so you

your enemy will kill its self the by your crusio skill..
even with a multiple enemy, a sta Psykeeper
can stand on it..
the only problem is the ranger.. once he hit you
with a silent shot.. your dead hahahaha
mp char are no match to a Ranger..
so keep your guards up..
but to add on it..
sta psykeeper is not only for pvp
it is also a mob type char.. =)
so enjoy mobbing and killing!

kk all u guyz listen. no class is better then another. yes when a ranger uses silent shot it may stop a bp’s asal and a psys crucio. but rangers lack the def to defend against the ordinary onslaught of a blade or bp. a high sta bp can just use asal against raikis psy then use a pill and repeat. an ele subs def for dmg. so an ele can kill a bj easy cuz of their low def. but because of an eles low sta a yj can just use and 1 hit em easy. But if a knight comes because of their naturally high defence they can
show the yj whos boss. also bananbarn… u have it wrong yes bjs hit hard and fast. but they lack def. if an aoe ranger sneaks in a p arrow ur done. if a bp comes in what are you going to do? if a knight comes in you may hit them first but they have good sta and dmg so ur ded. the only class u can kill is a ele and a fs rm. so bananbarn is dumb lol. btw i have a lvl 90 bp, lvl 112 aoe rm (sounds weird but they own pvm) and a lvl 102 aoe ranger. and lastly a lvl 86 fs rm server cw ftw.

Dave, Go DEX and STA, STR doesn’t affect rangers well enough to worry about it. Miley, There is no definate answer to those questions.

when i first get on i go to garbagespiders to like refresh my aoe up cuz im very good at it

I’m acro and planning to be the ultimate “long-range-all-out-offensive-type character”…
MY wants from a character:
1)HIGH ATTACK speed
2)HIGH damage at long range
3)not easily killed due to evasion or block rate (I don’t care how much HP i have as long i’m not damaged)
4)Not annoyed by special skills like “SNEAKER” or “STUN”(how can i avoid these things??)
5)HAs special tricks in escaping(i’m an “kill-quickly-and-escape” minded guy)
BJ’s or RANGERS?
I have few questions, will u please answer?
why will you be a “BOW-type-JESTER” if you know that “YOYO-type-JESTER” is still the stronger JESTER TYPE?
why not bow users stick to RANGERS(the real bow type character)?
why do they choose to become BJ’s when they know that they can’t use JESTER SKILLS??
Is RANGER available only for AOE type??
Which type is the strongest at long range??
i wish BJ’s attributes is unified to RANGERS’ so that all confusions can be solved…. LOL
I forget one thing….
I don’t care how much is the cost of the best of equipments for the character i want. I know i can buy them all in the future, if not now.

im to high nao cuz im lvl 71 this guide is very good
and nao i have Hbow+3 with okas greens +3 its easy to get sunstones nao

Mulltack – Atlantica is actually a rather impressive game for it being a free MMO. It’s nothing like any other MMO in terms of gameplay but definetly worth a try. I had fun, the download is just too long for me.
David – These are really good questions, and I wish I knew the answers. Especually the “why use a bow if you’re a jester when you know you can’t use the skills designated for the jester?” I’m rather confused as well. So, they might have a high crit rate, and maybe a decent att. speed ratio but…that’s all…that’s it? L-A-M-E.

This was quite a good guide but i could sugest that you add other acrobat builds besides the cookie cutter one…

bj is good on full dex but its not that much when you have to fight much higher mobs exampel i fight 5/7 lvls higher then me so you neeed few sta but not that much just util you have 40 sta or something like that and you lvl much faster killink 5 or 7 lvls higher mob in 7 sec max you kill 10 mobs in 1 1/2 min llv fast

i have 40sta XXXdex,and i have curuiser ser+3 and it works fine.I have Perfect block,Dark illusion and arrow rain.When you are a ranger put piercing arrow, ice arrow,fire arrow in max like this i can AoE 10lvl higher than me
guys i have 31 lvl ranger acro and i have 15 in 15 str 67 dex and 20 stamina is it good?
someone say i can max my char level with moonstone so sold me a moonstone to me for 30,000,000 penya so i can max level my character instant. how i use it?
i don’t get the slow step and fast walker…..both of them are in different branch. slow step doesn’t get to “Perfect Block” it gets to another last branch (i just wasted 5 pts on slow step and i don’t even use yoyos)
The fast walker on the other hand does.
