Flyff Leveling Guide
A brief level 1-90 guide on how to level and job change on the game Flyff. This guide does not go over quests or builds.
It’s finally here, level 60-90. First off, I’d like to thank ALL the people that helped me write this guide, providing me with small corrections, suggestions, and comments. While most of them are positive, I’ve had spam and negative comments. But I understand there are different leveling methods and I respect that. I’ve only deleted 2 posts of very negative content. One of which was a flamer and another was just some random person. Spam was deleted also. Here we go.
Version 11-12: In version 11 and 12, most know about the Cash Shop. Many people buy things from there providing Gala-Net with money to keep the GMs and the game updated on a weekly basis. These ingame items can help you or just make you look better. Yes, I have bought alot of these things. No comments of the “You spend money on a video game?!?” Please keep all those negative comments to yourself.
Azria: Azria is a new Winter-themed place for high levels. The minimum monster there is level 73, which is a Yeti. A Lot of people like Azria due to it’s massive amount of monster spawns. I level there, I am an AoE BP. At level 75 I could round up 80 Mutant Yeti. While this wasn’t a smart way to gain exp, it leveled the party to level 10 when I had a leech with me in one AoE.
If you hadn’t known this already, being in a full, Advanced party gives more exp for both you and a leech. If you do not have a leech with you, you won’t get as much exp.
This also levels the party. Leveling a party help you get party points, you can use party skills with these points. Using party skills can help your drop rate for special, or rare items. They can also increase your damage rate.
At level 60 you should be fighting either Grrs, Scylias, Cranes, or Dumps. Doing this will allow you to get exp, and drops at the same time. Quest items are needed at this level, whether it’s to farm them and sell for money, or to complete your quest and get your experience.
You should move on to Mongs once you are level 65, after a few levels there, if you can, kill CarrierBombs, Nautrephys, Boos, or Hoppres. These get difficult for people that are impatient to get quest items from. I know, I’m very impatient, so I just bought mine.

Well d3m0nZ, I had the most trouble writing that part b/c my lvls are only 31, and 34. I am trying to find a higher level maybe 60-70 to help me with this.
i would try going to the arena or forum and ask if people could help you out.

At level 15 (without buffs) you should kill Nyangnangs, or Bangs.
This guise is very useful to me and so confrats on your good work. I advise you put a special mini-guie for Mages and Assists to level up because they are particularly hard to train during level 20-35, and 40-52.

To : ©ataclysmic©astings. An AoE build Assist will find it freaking easy to level from 28+. An RM build Assist too. Only ones who will have problem are the Dex BP builds

firt of all dex BP are easy to lvl i got one to 60 in 5 days didnst plya much eiter anbd i got from 60-65 in 3 days 1 hour a day. i lvled faster than most AoE Assist to

pretty good guides but there’s some mistakes where u said in lvl 20-30 that bosses have like 1M hp that’s not really true only lvl 100+ bosses have 1M+ hp the weak ones have around 50k or even 100k+

Heavenly, you should work on Stamina and intelligence.
The place to change jobs to acro is in darken, use a blinkwing to get there.

Yea, im lvl 21 right now and i have no clue where to level, i usually have my assist buddy i know in real life helping me, but he wont be on for a bit and i wanna lvl my self, anyone got some suggestions? im a merc. btw

umm ok.. all the parts in the guide need improvement. you need to make your guides name “how to level w/o buffs” i really dont see y you will kill things so close of a level to you. i can get from 50-55 in a weekend but with your guide i bet it would take me like a week.. even if i grind like hell. this is with killing things 9 lvls higher than me, having buffs and in a contri party and all thoes things are easy to get. and you didnt really add much about he ADV parties you just said “you should know about ADV partys now” you need to tell them to join Contri parties. im not saying it sucks im just saying you need to learn how to lvl a little better befor your write a guide on it telling people things that will make them lvl really slow.
Mercenary: VERY BORING during the beginning and relies on an assists buffs at low levels. At higher levels, they become strong. (attack – Fast – Very fast.)

1. “during the beginning and relies on an assists buffs at low levels” the last part of that it wronge. you rely on buffs at a high lvl too. my lvl 90 blade still relies on buffs so that i dont die.
2.attack – Fast – Very fast.
no…your wronge. not all them attack fast. blades attack as fast as you make them and knights…well there wepons arn af fast as you want…

Jack, I meant at high levels and low levels, there I was just overviewing the merc. I know, once again I was mentioning low level mercs for attack speed.
Drakul, There are a few parts where I mention buffs, I think I should really rename thise guide, I have lost the save file of it (part of the reason I didn’t edit anymore.) I grind slowly, BRM. Having buffs aren’t that easy to get, but most of the things you listed are. My bad for not mentioning contri parties.

Heintz, use them all on mage skills, and save your reskill. Use a reskill at level 60 or so.
real nice guide.i am a lvl 95 phsykeeper on the Demian server.for those who are new to magicians if you want to do 1.5k dmg get your int to at least 55 or 60 then add stam. to 30(or more if you nid to)and then add into int the rest of your magician career.If you chose to become a phsykeeper(im a satanology phsykeeper which means i only realy on int no stamina if you dont know what a satanology phsy is then google it or go to the flyff forums)after you become a phsy get a lvl 59-60 blue set and a re-stat scroll.use the re stat and add it all into int and walla(without the blue set…ull only do 5k i believe and youll die often)also as a magician use your elemental skills makes things easier ex.monsters that are earth are weak against wind(im sure you can figuire the rest out)

Very well written guide. I must say that this is very helpful and any new players should read this guide beforehand. Everyone always asks me what server I play in or my username. I play in the Glaphan server and my username is AssasinOfCreed. I don’t play much because I have tons to do but I will come on as soon as I can.

I’m a lv 67 AoE Knight i’m 70str and 92 sta i’ve tried to AoE Syilca and mongs and sylica give me .06 and Mongs give me .08. So i’ve just gone back to cranes because i can AoE about 20 at a time so i get really good xp i guess. First:Nutty Wheels aren’t that dangerous. My Mage killed those at level 44 with about 50 STA and a Sorain Set.
Second: For quests, the missing play script is the only the second best quest in the game.The best one is the Ivillis Dungeon Quest.And the third is the Red Bang Quest. Ivillis gives you 3 and a half levels if you do it at the first level (45) and Red Bang gives you 2-3 levels.
Like I said… This guide is quite outdated.

ashley u noob, once u register on gpotato and get the confirmation email, use the same account to log into flyff, once logged in u got to select a server. on the left window select a server number and select an empty box, then u will see a button called ‘Create’, and voila there u go

Did you skip available quest for a certain level or did you do them while leveling up. Please enlighten me if I should do quest or just killm monsters instead of doing some quest??? Also do you know a site where they post prices of certain items like weapons,accesories, and stuffs like that? Thanks and I’ll surely follow your guide

jacnif just put all ur stats on strength b/c when u get to be an assist ur stats get reset then u can put them on strength if u wanna be a bill poster or intellect if ur gonna be a ringmaster
This guide may be old but it shows you the basic steps that we still use in todays version… I left flyff two years ago, came back lost my account information
. So I decided to make a new character. I googled Flyff Leveling Guide in hopes to find something that could possibly remind me of the game I once knew. the first time I logged in just to notice that everything was changed. >.< After reading this guide I found out there is a better way to leveling then what I had seen! It ends with me just turning level 103 today, two weeks and 3 days later.

Ok, Time to answer the questions.
Nonamelol, There’s a second page, this guide covers up to level 60. A new update will be comming soon up to level 90. I just hit 73 yesterday, on my 14th character.
Bloodmourne, I had assist buffs and RM buffs most of the way through the game, (Multi logging, etc) For level like 20, I believe you get the Mia chain quests. They’re an easy couple of levels, and I believe you get a Gore+3 at the end of the chain. Takes long, but worth it, Gore +3 raises I think about 155HP. Now, at level 45 Ivillis Quest from the SaintCity Mayor is a GREAT way for Lots of exp/level. It might be hard though, you have to kill alot of things, with the new version of flyff, the ivillis guarder (A.K.A KFC chicken) spawns by the rubbed copy of ivllis. In version 7, all the ivillis bosses spawned at random times and locations. You can do quests by the office, they only give a little bit of % though. At level 50+ Doing ANY quest you can will be a help leveling. Check the forums for some price guides.
Jacnif, I play Kern, and do not playing on Mia, My next move if I ever do move, would be Aibatt. If your a full support assist (FS) You should go on STA and INT. Sta, because you won’t die as much hopefully, and INT for MP. If your going to be a fighting assist, you should look up some builds, or just put on STA, DEX, and STR accordingly to as you need them.

Hey, I trained on monsters one level above me when I was a Vagrant. I didn’t need to use food so I thought it was pretty good.
Keep at those items on the ground, Vagrants! You will be filthy rich if you do! (You’ll have more money than me anyhow!)

I’m a level 52 mage w/ only max water and wind. My build is 50 stamina and the rest int. I need some advice on what I should do, I can’t remember what the scroll is, I think it’s a reskill. Where can I get one instead of buying w/ real cash?
If no suggestions about that, where should I level, I intend to solo more than party and I do pretty well like that, I don’t even use that much food on lvs a little higher than me.

Nice guide, but ive been wondering, ima lvl 52 merc and im killing Small volts and some Captain Volts. I have the panggril set and im only getting .30 off captain volts WITHOUT ADV? i shout for adv partys and plvlers but Mia server has gotten real dull –_–

Lawolfs are in flaris, by the River of Weeping (I think that’s it’s name.) A little bit south of feferns. Merc should have DEX STA and STR. Look up some builds if you would like.
Steel Knights are lower level than Volts so if Volts take a really long time, I’d suggest going for something a little less powerful, Like drillers or wheels. Get a leech+ ADV for max exp gain.
Great guide… problem is if u dont have money its a lot harder to train at those when ur so low lvl >.<

You should kill what your able to kill. This means that you should be able to not die often, not get close to dying, and not take a minute to kill a monster. If you can kill a monster in 20 seconds or less, without almost dying, your good, and maybe try captains or the next monster.

its a great guide. but i noticed at the level 20-30 part you didn’t comment on the monsters seen in saint morning. like perhaps level 31 and 32 giggleboxes which are important to grind on if your near level 30.

To all the people that say this guide is bad, Read the comments. I might make little changes here and there and just post them on the comments. Yes, it’s true, the guide says to kill your level monsters. What I was meaning to say was kill the monsters you CAN kill.
CAN kill = Killing a monster that is a decent amount of levels higher than you, that won’t just 1 hit you. If you are near death every 10 seconds, there’s no point in killing that monster. Move to a lower mob, or buy better food.
Believe me, I know what I’m talking about. I’m currently level 113 on Kern, with a bunch of side characters such as a YoyoJester. My accounts have the best equipments I can afford. With these equips, I can ‘take over’ the arena with a level 66 yj. My BP cannot do that as easily, due to my new build (full sta)
I think I might know what I’m talking about, guys. Don’t be complaining to me about how bad this guide is.

There are two builds for aoe, Jessica.
First build – STR build. 80-100 STA xxx str
Second build – ( the better, faster killing build) Either full sta, or 80-100. For full sta, Equipsments such as wedge/flury are needed. ( you could use hp gear such as billst, or ale(s/xt)
but you would loose your casting time, making this build seem useless and more expensive than the other build. Because of the rate you go through refreshers.) These can be awakened with either dmmt or sta/int. INT gives you more damage. dmmt gives you faster casting. I was this build before, well actually I was both builds, I like this one better though. This is a smarter build but expensive, also risky.
How – to:
Put the INT aoe in your action slot 3 times.
(Your going to use either alot of refreshers or refresher holds)
Max prevention needed
buff, cast prev, gather, Exp and party scroll VERY useful (2k+ dmg)
cast. With the 45 assist set, you get 30% dmmt without awakenings. Fast kills.
My set was +57% Dmmt. (Including knuckle and shield)
At level 113 I was killing cannibal mammoths in 5 seconds. (with exp and party scroll)
Expensive, but you get what you pay for..
Meh it was ok u could have added a few more things but it was ok

How long took it for you to Level till 75 and did you used leechers? Because im searching for Plevel till 75, Then ill get 2 H-Axes.
And i need a >GOOD< Stat-build for Blade.
Some said I have an Axe-build so that’s why I gonne use H-axes. It also gives a nice HP bonus. 20% HP and 7% Attk speed each Historic Axe
My build: Sta: 30 (and then more with bonusses )
Dex: 60 (and then more with bonusses )
Str: XxX
Is this a good build? or do I have to buy Restat and change it.
I want a 1 vs 1 Build , no PvP/Dueling.
And it has to be the fastest way to kill mobs to lvl so fast as possible without Pleveling

Since v14, you can’t really fight Grrr’s and Dump’s until you are a higher level because they raised the Grrr level from level 60-62 to 87-89. With the Dump’s they raised the level from 64-66 to level 90-92. But with the higher level monsters like Chimeradons, Bearnerky’s, Chef Muffrins and Popcranks they are a little lower lvls now.

I have a level 18 mage (i started yesterday and only have 9 hours play time) and at level 16 with a level 18 assist i was in the dungeon kill mutant nyangnangs and i leveled to level 18 in like 30 minutes from that… now im contemplating just grinding bangs for golden wings or going to sain… oh btw im on Kern and my username is FANGDavid…FANG is my Xfire clan.

Well the one thing i can say is this is a first class guide but you should put hints in about the quests that give you items for example the +3 gore necklace from the quest in saint morning for those of you wondering where to find the quest use blinkwing to saint morning and the first npc you will see is JeongHwa most people would just turn a blind eye but accept the quest (there are about 5 parts of the quest you have to do before you get necklace ) also a hint for you all who have started the game try and find some one that’s selling plug ear rings ( try and buy two) and at a verry cheap price this will give you 44 defence per ear ring and if you have two of them this equils up to 88 defence it might not seem alot but it does when you are constantly dieing whit the monsters health critical also avoid using moon stones to level your rings, ear rings and necklaces over +3 because your item and moon stone has a possabilty fo been destroyed you can use scroles that protect the item if the upgrade fales but in flyff world there NOT cheap

Hey , I am only lvl 49 but without any like buffs, I can take on nuttywheels. I find it reaally boring and time consuming to hunt monsters your lvl because exp is low and the questies are forever! I just beat up the higher lvls so that I can finish questes easier and fast while lvling. Also I believe that earlier on, the people should try fighting a boss slightly higher than them. When I was only lvl 25 I beat the giant pumpkin, sure it takes a lot of food but it jumped the exp way high and I got greens. please make a few adjustments to my comments thanks!
