Perfect Blade Guide
This is a guide on how to make your flyff blade correctly and most efficiently.
I have noticed through the numerous topics in help forums of mercenaries and blades alike asking for what build they should be stated to and the miss-informed replies being past back and then cycled amongst other blade build topics.
This guide is to clear these myths and offer the best stating all the way through your levels and what sets to equipment to maximize effectiveness.
The aim is to minimize your dex level as you progress through levels and eventually at level 100 a full strength build is most efficient. However you will require at least one restate at level 100 to do this. Ok so firstly, before this restate at level 100 you should have 47 dexterity as this is a speed break with max buffs. (47dex is faster attack speed than that of 46.) It is important to get this dex level up while you are low because you will be furthest from 100% attack speed at this level and the weapons get better more commonly then at a high level making strength less relevant.
I suggest leveling dex and strength near a 1:1 ratio however reaching 47-dex a bit before strength is 47. Stamina is up to you. If you want to level faster but take more risk go for 30sta. If you don’t like risks go for 50stamina or 40. But DO NOT go above 50 as it is a waste of points considering blades don’t tank more than 1 or 2 mobs in the case of an aggro. Once your dex has reached 47 its full strength from there. At level 45 a rare set will be available. Save your money for this. Pangril set it is called for males and Stich for females. This suit along with its other cool bonus’s adds 20% attack speed. This is very important as it will get you to 100% attack speed with your 47 dex and buffs. You will be keeping this set until level 90 so make sure you upgrade it well as you won’t need to buy 60 or 75 sets.
The reason for keeping the set is that you will be able to have a much higher strength bonus then if you were to use another set and lose your 20% speed as well as strength.
At level 90 you will be with RM’s with a skill called GT. This will give you the speed bonus (as well as bonus strength) that you need allowing you to get the 90 set and maintain 100% attack speed.
With this build I was able to hit 12k damage at level 8x on pinkies. Killing a pinkies (level 87 mob) in 3 seconds on average. Out damaging those with even +10 axes quite easily. (I had 25sta however.) But you get the drift.
As you do not need to buy level 60 or 75 sets all that money can go towards piercing you suit for more damage 4 4% piercing of attack is a semi cheap option and gives you a whole 16% more attack dmg. Lightning cards are a bit excessive as you will be 90 in no time with this build. At level 100 you are able to restate to full strength to kill even faster. With this build and good equipment you can damage glaphans for 19k, 28k, 19k, 28 etc damage… Making blades whom are already fastest killing class in game a whole lot stronger 
This method has been tested on a blade account, which I have taken beyond level 100.

Firstly, this “perfect blade guide” is only for people who have main accounts. Who’d have 24/7 rm buffs allowing one to get 100% aspd? Imho, a “perfect blade guide” should include variations for the poorer people(starters) as well as different types of blade builds, although they are not as common.(aoe?, dex?)
Next, the level 60 recorn/rescorn set adds 20% aspd too, which is a much cheaper option compared to highly upgrading the pangril/stitch set.4/4 suits are expensive because of the price of gpots, I’d recommend 2/2 suits for beginners, as they are much cheaper and easier to make =D.
rescorn doesntadd 20% speed it adds 20% of somethign else which i can’t remember at the moment. And if you refer to my other guide you will see the max buff method from ordinary low level assists. I have tested this blade build and reached 100 in 3-4 weeks belive me it works amazingly

it really does add ASPD and Hp rate is much more better (at least now tht it’s ver 7) back then it adds 15% on atk but now it adds to akt speed and it has better def
so ide say go for it

hey check out the site of flyff equipments… it didnt indicate that it has 20% ASPD in rescorn/recorn suit, therefore there is no additional 20% ASPD in rescorn/recorn suit. Only the pangril has 20% ASPD
actually the Rescorn/REcorn DOES add aspd now. that site that oyu mentioned that showes the stats might be outdated so dont go by every guide you see. it does add it because i would kno. i have 2 blades and 1 knight that uses the set. its awesome and i recomend the Recorn/Rescorn sets highly

Ello^^ i`m a newbie at flyff and have played 4 sum months, my blade is now 69 and have a str on 90 dex 61 and stam 50(included strentes, a mightier and a plugg+2, im gonna dex myself to 75, is that good? anyways does it cost much to uppgrade weps and arms? i dun want to use real money when i play that game so i dunno how to make money that fast, do u have any suggestions? thx^^
im lv 56 mercenary, and i have 75 DEX and i dont have 100% ASPD, i have SoSS+7 and full Panggril +3..but i only have 81% ASPD :O WTF?!?!??!?!!!! O.o
the attack speed changes after 92dex-96 dont remeber.
and the question oh jasmine is good for my self . how can i make money fastly? im lvl 66 blade. 75STR,80Dex and 40 STA (bleve me that gooees FAST to lvl. i can kill hoppres lvl 75-77! (detra+4, 2 strentes, 2 mighteers,recorn set and a little gore). Do not buy/use pesion (dont helps blades at all). and im not a player that play 24/7 only weeks.
LOL this guide is basicly what I do already i guess I did it right
But HHH theres one thing your missing with the pesion necklace there is a use to it for a blade with maked sneaker. I use one on giants a little extra fp does help 
all you have to do is sneak, hit for a bit and use stars when you get close to being koed and you have slow food (like stars) just move out of range of attack. Then heal to max and sneak again if your last sneaker is almost out it helps ALOT. (mind you that I only use this when im going against higher lv giants without a fs or buffer)

here’s a noob question for u, can your aspd go over 100%?
is 50 dex enough for a blade using an axe.. with a full strength.

Okay, you guys are not going to get help here. The base stamina for a blade is 30 or 40, sometimes 50 (I prefer 40). As for dex, well don’t put it above 80, it helps increase block rate and speed but you will not hit harder. So after you have those stats figured out I highly suggest putting all of your points on strength.

Hey,im a lvl 40 Merc going to be a Blade.So far,these are my base stats:STR:34,STA:35 (capping it at 40),DEX:54 and INT:15.
But,with all my awesome equips,my stats are:STR:45,STA:36,DEX:59 and INT:15.So far,is this a good build?

I have been playing FlyFF for 2 months now and have lvl 52 bp and lvl 40 merc, im making my merc a blade and his stats are:
40 str, 50 dex, 30 sta, 15 int. I was wondering if i should get my sta to 40 then put the rest of attribute points onto str for pain dealing. Also i ahve had some problems making money and never seem to afford lvl 45-60 suits. I can afford the pangril boots, helm and gloves but jus not the suit. Any ideas how i can make some money? i was thinking of using real money for gpots and sell 100 for 7m+ ^^
When you want to buy greens sets than spen ewery lvl 10k in the bank and spare it.(I think it will work).And when you dont buy it on lvl 60 you can train at the ivilis temple (ivilis black otem have a high sunstone drop chance and grr bandage makes good food also sell the maked food) good luck.

i agree with everything except the STA. keeping STA at minimum is better. and i have some kind of disorder because i don’t like my numbers ending with a number other than 0. so my blade has 40 dex. i recommend 50 for noobs. lol.

Omg first to say ^^.Search for the lovest price and buy it both.You have a rm and you can go on lvl 58-60 in the ivilis temple with your rm and fight ivilis black otem.(That mob haves a high sunstone drop chance and they drop Grr bandage (quest item) make food from grr bandage and sell it for 120-130 penya and fast you will have money i think.

I got merc with pure Str. It is really great, i can do a lot of dmg. I’m not sure if I have to put some Dex or Sta. If you are in the Lawolf, I can help to buff you with my RM (AdelaideCuteGirl).
CutieBladeGirl what lvl are you?When you are so 45-47 put so in sta and more in dex you need atack speed.You need some defense (also sta) and faster atack (also better damage dealer).

ok gregac if u need atak speed getting dex points is not the way to get it through a blade. u will only get like 3% more aspd if u have 100 dex. Dex in blade is for low miss % and higher crit and doging rate. to get aspd u need to have aqakend equips or something. My bp has 100 aspd with buffs cause it has 47 dex plus 12% asprd sheild, and plus 15% aspd on my g knuk so it has over 90% aspd with no buffs and ii doesnt have very much dex.

Glitchdude i know equp needs to be good.But when your equip suxs you need dex.I have mercs and all have stich/pangril and soss and my atack speed is 82 without buff.Also you need dex when your equip is bad (maybe) and not so much dex when you have good equip.

str and stam must be a 1:1 or the stam must be ahead of 20pts in str.

now dex must be ahead of str by 20pts so that you become crit and block type. Thats all.

Kiko i mean str-XXX and dex-XXX is its up to you where do you place that status points. it means full stats. or you must put your str and dex to its maximum.
And Kiko read my response carefully ok. I said the dex must be ahead of str by 20 pts. so that means that if the str is 100 then the dex must be 120. ok

ahm your build is correct but put some dex on it ok, dont rely on str only, cause you are a blade and blade must be critical type of character to fast kill the enemy
yeah uzumaki you do realise if you ask any blade over lvl 100 that there stats will be full str because thats the main stat for blades. And thats the best lvling build because in the higher lvls def isnt relevent and neither is dex if u have lga’s.
of course they do, but even so, dex is more than the str right? bcause it is the main attribute of critical right? i am not against str ok what i mean is that dex must be ahead of str by 20pts. and its most suitable stat for the bloody items right?

the truth is I found myself hard finding those items, and im glad that my dream of acquiring them is turned into reality. hehehehe I even got myself a part-time job, so that i can buy those things hehehe the things i do for FlyFF.

hey im from philippines playing flyff bubbles server!!! il shared my learnings about the build for blade!!! ASPD. not to big deal for me! coz? even your dex is 50? its enough for? y? in the future? if you have a RM that havea skill name GT it gives 20% ASPD. even your 50 dex + cannon ball have 20+ or 30+ aditionally and haste!! it will reach your ASPD in 100%!!! it true!! try it

dex 50 + cannon ball for 20+ – 30+ dex and aditional HASTE for 25% ASPD i think and skill of RM that called GT gives you morthan 20+ASPD and damage = 100% ASPD in blade even thou your ax type or sword type!
just make your items stronger! so your defence rate is high!!!

pure dex for me its not totally recommended but it depends on you if you are Player vs Player build like siege or guildwars or a monster kill or boss kill only

if u have ur build slashx ur base str will only be 53. that means with full buff ull only have 93 str(including vigors). on lvl 65 i now have 103 str base and 143 str with demols, so i think your build is too weak.
With blade always go with str because at lvl 100 dex and sta are irrelevant and pure str will be sufficient. So go with str

Well im fine with my build because i can kill Gree’s and i only get hit once or twice (level 66 now).Im perfectly fine because i barely get hit (because of my block rate) and i have 77% Attack Speed without buffs and 88% with Berserk.

I wouldn’t recommend more than 30 STA, it’s a waste. Do get 67 DEX though as you will obtain the second speed break. Even prior to it and with 2 Dretras you will have 87% attack speed. Near 100% when casting Berserk. 100 if you go 67 DEX.

my blade has only 50 dex 20sta and all on str.., its more likely a bp build but it is a very fast killer because of my attack.., i have very low sta but becoz of many strength it made my blade a very strong player.., u need very strong acce…, for ex: u lack sta or dex.., then put your item focus with dex or sta type rings.., do not buy str type acce if u have olredi a very high str.., i wish i help yall.., good luck on your blades..,,
WTF!!!how about if im a sword type that has a 50dex 40sta and pure str?? how can i proceed w/ that it is lvl 50+ and has a panggril set w/ a sword of silver sword???

yo guys this got me2 120 str:xxx stam:25 dex:40 so u use lvl 60set till90 then get a good dayst/dest set. buy a angle swords if u want speed use a axe for crit. i used a swords then at 95 i reducted 2lga. oh use 90 set till 120 extra helpfull.fell free to get105 set. now at lvl120 get 2 bloody swords and u own. reply please.

I have 3 merc chars; a level 60 Blade(Demian), level 48 Merc(Clockworks), and level 41 merc(ClockWorks)
My blade is PURE STR and is personally the best blade i’ve seen at level 60.
My level 48 merc is PURE DEX(i block like every single hit if the opponent can even hit me)
My level 41 merc is like 50 STA, 50 STR, and 40 DEX…i think…(My first character and i gave up on him since leveling was so flippin’ slow :[)
tell me what you think about my chars ^_^
Oh, and I also have an FS(PURE INT[level 51{Demian}]) and a BP Assist(PURE STA[level 40{Clockworks}])
I havn’t experimented with long-ranged classes yet but i plan on doing so once i get all of my current characters to second job class at the very least if not to level 90. I plan on getting my blade all the way to HERO though ^^
P.S: If you haven’t noticed by now, I only play Clockworks and Demian servers.

hey i think i r bad, because first i made a dex blade and it owns str blades dpending on difference of levels, then i dont have the stitch set i got the rescorn set it give +20%atak speed and 15%hp so i think it better because it have more def and the stitch, and as i am dex blade and i use axes i got without my berserk 93% atack speed and my damage is good atm i got 90dex and 50str and 45sta and my crit is 15% and it help, so plz bother us to be the worst, and if u wana be aoe dont put all to sta instead of sta put to dex to have block rate and miss i will be aoe at lvl 70 because i use axes, and i will not change my build i will still putting dex until i get 100 then i put more str

im clocks player. im making myself a blade it hit 15 yesterday (in one hour) wel im going too go full str or add too 47 dex idk yet wel i have recorn +9 already 2 detras +9 vigors +9 demols+12 shield +17% sooooo idk but all ur advice 1st job noobies are wrong blades are best on full str and y u need too have a main but u dont make a blade as first char ! i did it dint work out well ..; make a bp if u are nooby cheap and very effective (mine isnt cheap tho)

Once you get these stats, you pump full STR. This is probably one of the best builds out there that i have created.
Pros: You will have awesome damage, Attack Speed, Block Rate and Crit. Also, you can solo giant very well and you destroy in PvP.
Cons: I Haven’t really found anything bad about this build. Many people say that i have way to much DEX, but then when they see the damage i put out, they don’t speak ever again.
I am Level 85 and my Gear is as followed :
Full Dest Set +5 (I used Reduct B’s)
2 Angels Axe +8 (3/3). Fire B Cards. (I used Reduct B’s)
2 Demols +12
2 Vigors +9

Actually elee, there is a point for that much dex. Since i am using Axes getting my Dex that high increases my base attack speed as well as my crit chance. Ans using 2 Angels Axes along with being fully buffed i have a high crit chance. The leveling is super fast and you can destroy in PvP. Having 43 Dex is simply not enough for PvP and for Gianting. Since i have a higher block rate, i take less damage and put put out more. Plus, my STR is not being gimped since of the gear i am using. Overall, amazing build and i suggest you try it.

If ur wondering about how to train ur skills, dont train any atk skills, it doesnt make u kill faster. Train only the ones that make u do more dmg with sword or axe(depends which one u use) the elemental one = crappy

Well,there’s no need to show off here for what items we have…
leme give my point of view…
If you go FULL STR blade,which can be considered as the best one against the monsters in flyff, your max damage output is superb, BUT with this,you have to keep a RINGMASTER with you to support, and trust me, the max buff your RM gives you is enough. BUT if you have no RM and yes for sure,YOURE DEAD MEAT
~what?no RM?then make one, and use the*double client* method
What blade does is to max their normal output damage, which mean STR is mainly gonna be your best stats for 1vs1 blade.
If you go for higher STA – You can tank,good defense,High HP, you can even probably fight higher lvls monsters, recommend around 15 – 30 sta
If you go for higher Dex -
The SKILL for blade are all depends on your DEX, So there’s AOE skill for blade, higher dex = more damage for the skill. Yes you have higher dodge rate and you have critical chances??
btw AOE Blade is strong
Jester class have the dex critical advantage in class
Jester Class – 10 dex gives 4% Critical Rate
Other Class – 10 dex gives 1% Critical Rate
So means that –
Jester – 100 dex gives 40% Critical Rate
Others – 100 dex gives 10% Critical Rate
So lets put it this way for a blade…
IF he goes for 100 Dex – 10&Critical Rate
OR he goes for 100 Str – Almost 500 Base Damage
Which Do You prefer?Yes i can see that.
1on1 dex blade??I suggest if you go for AOE blade,dont put any STR,because from this point your blade skills are all depends on your DEX,Higher DEX higher skill damage, and there’s an AOE skill to, which means you have to have higher STA. So either No/Less STR. From this point you can AOE. sounds better?
Dont worry about attack speed,Melee class are faster than range class and blade,you guys have the berserk ability(yes i know its short duration)thats why you have to have your RM at all times
P/s – Blade dont come cheap,they’re expensive ~ Expensive weapons and blade always keep constanly change their armours to be at their best. So for the poor and new people, get those money from giant hunting/gpotato or whatever as long you get it.
after you get all the things you want then you will need to have another thing in yourself ~> patience for lvling

Blade deals more damage than other classes. It’s their advantage against other classes. Blades have low defense rate, thats why other people are confused about the “Perfect Build”. There’s no such thing as “Perfect Build”. It depends on the weapons, sets/armors and accesories.
