Guild Wars Macro Farming Guide
Automated Gold Farming Bot guide
This guide will walk you through the simple steps of creating your own macros for Guild Wars.
You will need a program called Macro Express, and can download the shareware version from
http://www.macros.com/
It is a safe program that has been in use for years with no hidden spy ware attached to it.

With Macro Express, you can record, edit and play back mouse and keyboard macros.
Step 1:
Start up Guild Wars and once in the game go to an easy District such as Ascalon City, Ruins of Surmia, or Fort Ranik, somewhere you can kill easy Mobs compared to the level your at. Go through a portal and fight your way somewhere into the middle of the map. Once there kill any Mobs within proximately range but leave the others.
Step 2:
Alt tab out of Guild Wars to your desktop and open up Macro Express. On the left-hand side you will see a capture icon click that looks like a camera click this icon. An Add Macro screen will pop up, hold down the Ctrl key and then push the J key. Now click the Capture Macro button. A warning screen will come up and simply click yes to continue. Give your “Ctrl J Macro” a Nickname such as Double Alt Warning screen will pop up, click Ok.
Step 3:
Alt tab back into Guild Wars and hit the tab key to target a Mob, hit the space key to attack it and then the skills keys you want to use, (click your mouse on the screen in several places to get your character moving if there are no targets within range). Heal yourself often if you have the skills. Repeat this 3 times in different combinations.
Step 4:
Hold down the Ctrl key and hit J. A screen will pop up indicating the Capture is complete. Click Ok and alt tab back into Macro Express. Scroll down the list of macros until you see the macro you have just created “ Farming test1” and right mouse click on it. Scroll down to “edit with Scripting Editor” and left mouse click on this line.
Under commands scroll down to the Repeat icon and left mouse click on it. Click on “Repeat Start” Now just to the right of this screen are three arrows click on the top one with the blue plus sign. A repeat screen will appear, enter 1000 into the repeat count and click Ok.
Now under commands click the Repeat End; click the bottom arrow with the red plus sign. Do a file save and your Marco is ready to use.
Step 5:
Alt tab back into Guild Wars and hold down the Ctrl key and J key, your macro will start.
To stop your macro at anytime hold down the Scroll lock key and then push the Pause key.
Step 6:
When you have stopped your macro from running simply hold down the Alt key and start collecting the gold coins, dye, and loot left by the Mobs. Use your map to follow your steps backwards.
Step 7 :
Identify every item that is White, Blue, or Purple (Save Gold Items Unidentified because they sell better to other players as (UNIDENTIFIED). Identifying an item makes the Merchant pay you a higher price. I pick up everything in the zone and go to the vendor and start selling everything that doesn’t interest me. Better items like dye, I sell to other players for extra income.

i do all this but i dnt get any more drops..wot the main use for this?
No doubt that this is some way of getting peoples accounts. Although he did say it has no spyware attached.. I bet it does, most things like this have it attached!

ia it possible to make it automatically pick up items etc?
Isnt it possible to make it pick up all items by itself, but i guess that would basicly be like one of those bots you download that steels your account.. is there anyway at all..
I have made my own macro and must say that if you program it good that it really works good. you can let him pickup items and let him automatic sell them by the merchant……
love this guide, but how where would this macro be most useful? I’ve seen many bots in Granite Citadel (yuck)
i dont quite understand. wont if u do while afk u wont get any drops because u need to pick them up manualy?
I fyou program the macro good, then you will have the macro automaticcly pick up those loot that just has been dropped
I need to find out if there is a granite citadel bot availible and if so, what it does. I would also like to know why 55s are there, there are loads of mesemers outside granite
there are so many 55’s at citadel becasue its near mineral springs and that where u get SoJ or sheilds of judgement. A must have for any 55. Also its a great bot place for 55’s.
Lol guys if u walk out of citadel and then u get some invisible guys appear, there Rangers and warriors u see, i farm them ( manually) with my 55hp, i have made a Bot with Perfect Macro for elona reach, its great!, and for all u saying u cant pick up loot auto, u press the ‘ [ ‘ key then press space bar

I have managed to make a decent macro, though I dont know how you would do to make character automatically sell your stuff… The only way I could see that happening is if someone was farming for you i.e. stealing your acount. So… I dont know! maybe someone has idea’s? What works good is if you farm with 2 acounts at a same time.

Is it just me or are there some really sad sites to get bots from? First of all any bots you do find tend to either;
a) steal your account
b) get your account banned
c) stand around and do nothing anyways.
As for making a macro that atacks and picks everything up. I personally use c + Space to attack then v + Space to pick up whatever got dropped.
Of course if you only want to use skills and look like you are doing something for faction farming, I suggest you get a auto-mouse clicker that gives you the option of recording multiple points and use it in AB.
I personally use a bonder monk build and make it appear that I am bonding the gatekeepers on the kurzick side.
Nobody gets any wiser and I get all the faction I want to farm!

It doesnt always work, but whilst capturing the sequence, continuosly press Space Bar, when the foe dies, bot should pick up the drop. (doesnt always work)
does this works for fff(fast factions farming)?

Like most games that don’t want people to use bots it is against EULA but I believe that if you set a loop to farm lets say Sunspear points. If your there watching the bot I don’t see a problem. I ran the same loop over 100x myself with no bot. Acted like a bot by after killing the final mob, zoning, rezoning, ect. If your going to bot though, change your bot everyday and never use the same one twice.

lol you lost your account, this program does work you can set it up to reqriut people farm sell items but it is hard to do all of this you need to know how to use a computer very well
hi, i have got the latest version i think and ive tried alot of times…. but it just doesnt record my movement of arrow keys or picking up items, i do hav capture key strokes selected, thanks for help in advance.

yes but how do u program the macro with macro express to automatically sell to the merchant u cant do this by using mouse cause when u spawn after rezone u dont spawn in same place and mouse clicks will not be where they where when u captured them, so unless there is a way to auto sell to merchant with macro express this program is useless cause u need ot be at compute whole time u r doing it

I would advise against programming your macros to come to town, or start off in town. You may not realize it but there are allot of players that tag suspects as bots, if you plan to use macros use them wisely. Use semi auto functions and common sense, don’t simply automate the game for your farming needs. Obviously no matter how amazing you automate the scripts they still lack brains, you still need to watch your visual butt. Do not make scripts that run for long hours because the game knows no human can play 24/7, and is programmed to boot any account running that long. Use heroes with your automated self, it helps if your programmed clone somewhat. Keep your character on DND, if you must return to town do that yourself not via macros.

To answer some questions while in screening mode in game you can do:
Alt Space (Then) ; Space (To pick up any item left over)
still havin issues getting it to follow precisely what I tell it to do, but I have no complaints otherwise, even got a cracked

Well my personal favorite as far as how to avoid getting caught is to make the name impossible to report in the duration they can see it. Such as {yyjhsgs aaaaaa} or something like that. Because most of the bans/suspensions are happening thanks to angry players who dont have a bot to do the work for them.
Yah guys you can get banned for this if you dont use it wisely like someone said earlier dont make it enter and leave towns for you and dont keep it running for hours upon hours….you shouldnt get banned if u do that
So lots off ppl say that if u use this Program u get your acc banned , u gonna loose your acc , u gonna get hacked . Well i can tell u this : I downloaded the program > instal it and it works very well ( No Trojans, Spyware Or any other virus) The only thing is that is hard to use because its complicated and u need to know how to use a computer. Botting was not created for some fool who would only like to get a couple of hundred platinum on his account for some silly one-time armor or a few weapons/titles, these things exist for ‘companies’ who sell you the game money for IRL cash. They pay people to write special programs to manipulate the online character’s actions in order to achieve fast farming runs. For them to have several accounts banned is nothing compared to the amount of money they make in the end from selling the in-game gold for real life cash. These are the problem bringers and those who buy in-game gold online from these ‘companies’ are only making the problem worse in that the game itself becomes near unplayable for normal human players who then struggle immensely to achieve the higher ranks, to own the better/best equipment/armor and etc. Because of the gold farming they do, they mostly (99%) cause in-game prices to skyrocket. You few younglings here trying to get a program to automate some of your functions is the least of the communities worries at present as this should have been stopped years ago, now it’s too late. So if you do manage to make it happen that your little character can auto farm a little piece of the map for your own good, then all the blessings to you brave grench, because you still stand the chance of being caught and banned. Your effect on the entire in-game economy doesn’t even feature as a ripple in Gwen’s pond to be honest. Your game account means a lot to you and nothing to those writing the programs for the mass farming. If they cause the game to shutdown after 2-3years because of the over botted wilderness, you loose out and they’ve made their IRL money.

Macro Express is a Legit Program designed origionaly for automating workplace office tasks. How ever it has a great deal of potential in games so lon as it is not deactivated by the game. I have used this program for a long time. aproximetly 8 years for personal uses and for gaming stuff.
This program isn’t exactly a bot its a simple macro tool I do not ever recomend using it for any kind of unatended macroing as well that kinda ruins the game and is against tos but its kinda nice to have a binding that simply dose ;(space) so it will auto target closes item and pick it up. I duno just me.
How ever since every item in GW is auto assigned GW should just eliminate the drop and either put the item directly in your inven’ or save it till the end like that box you get when loot exists on a timed exit from a mission or quest. Just my 2 cents

the problem is the only people really getting caught are the ones who dont know enough about macros and cant make it look real. i assure you the gold farming companies have their macros written perfectly.
