Alright guys, we have all been waiting for it. And we are still waiting for it. When is ArenaNet going to release it?? Well, unfortunately we do not know, but on the positive side at least they want to take their time to make it right instead of doing a cruddy job on it.

A few great similarities between the original Guild Wars and the sequel are going to be the no-monthly fees, still made for the PC only (I’m a PC), and it will be solo-able. Some even better things include the different playable races, more actions (such as jumping over obstacles or swimming under water), houses that you can walk into, and more unique weapons – firearms!

Just for those who have not checked out the website (Guildwars2.com), Tyria was a land of war. All five races were seeking to destroy each other, but then the dragons awoke. After millenniums of sleep, the dragons finally woke and, from their magical breath, created hundreds of thousands of evil slaves. Zhaitan, the dragon that is known throughout the world to be deathless, rose the sunken nation of Orr. The evil armies of the dragons emerged from the sea and craved the desire to destroy all of the races on earth. The human, the charr, the norn, the sylvari, and the asura each tried to defeat these new enemies but could not do it alone. They all had to unite with one another and fight.

Guild Wars 2 is the biggest project that Arena Net has ever undertaken. It is going to be huge. A beta version is going to be released near the full versions release. So when they publicly release the beta version, try it out and just know that not long after that the full version will be available for purchase! Let’s hope they do as great of a job of GW2 as they did on GW.
