How to Make Money in Oblivion
I have been playing Oblivion for a very long time. Over that time I have learned many good ways to make money. Most of these tactics can be used by any person of any level. Through this you can become one of the richest people in Oblivion.
Making money in Oblivion is not a easy thing to do. But there are some surefire tactics to make fast easy money or massive amounts of money that could be your basic way to make money. I will discuss many tactics that can be used by people of every level!
Method 1
There are many places around oblivion that will pay you money to do things. One place that will pay you a lot of money is the arena. There are two things you can do in the arena gamble (wager on which combatant will survive) or fight as a combatant. The best way would to be a combatant. At first you may not be making much money. But I have defeated every combatant in the arena and I make about 2,500 coins per a battle, and the battles are generally pretty easy. In case your wondering the arena is located in the Imperial City arena district.
Method 2
Thief’s guild. Joining the thief’s guild gives you access to people called fences, these fences will pay you for the stolen goods that regular people won’t buy. They may not give you great prices for your stuff but robbing a whole house will get you a lot of money. For robbing people I would recommend pick pocketing them, taking their key and robbing their house.
Method 3
Caves. Going into caves and exploring will usually let you find great items. There is alost always a lot of valuable items guarded by very easy and weak monsters.
Method 4
This will give you some very fast and basically free money. For this you will have to be a member of the mages guild. In every guild hall there are mortar and pestles, retorts, alembecs, and calcinator that you can sell to any alchemist in the guild for a little bit of money. Its good starting money if you have just begun and need some money for whatever reason.
In conclusion, these are just a few of the many ways to make money in oblivion. These are all fairly easy way and most of them can be used by lower levels. Of course for higher level people this may not be a ton of money but I hope this helped some people anyway.

once you get level 20 go to the roxy inn north east of the imperial city. There is a guy with deadric, glass and lots more. I just got lvl 20 and killed them, then i took the deadra armour-it pwns and looks tight! The glass armour is good to. You can sell some stuff but if i was u I would keep it.
hey does anyone have any good armour they found in like a cave or aylied ruin-especily if its enchanted. any weapons would do to-please respond.
A woman has umbra the sword and a full set of her special ebony armor. She is located in the Ayleid ruin Vindasel, southwest of the Imperial City.
She is supposedly level 50 so be careful fighting her. I paralyzed her and killed her with sufferthorn…it was a good tactic.
sufferthron rules i really only need money for enchanting my weps once i was a blade i took a katana enchanted it so i could call it nartes katana like renavults kantana in the begging oh im not a good speller so DONT MAKE FUN OF ME but yeah bye bye
the best way to make money is if ur a highish lvl do vampire cure then thalk to count of skingrad about reward he will give u say 2349 but talk to him about this again and he will give u more mone you can do this infinite times
