Kingdom of Loathing – Looking for a Larva in All The Wrong Places

When you are level 2 (you should be after Toot’s Quest), you should go to the Council of Loathing. They will ask you to go to the “Spooky Forest” and find a “mosquito larva”. On your menu pane, an extra button will appear called “woods”. Click on it and you should see the woods. In the woods, you should see trees with the words “The Spooky Forest” on top and a little hut. Go to the “Spooky Forest”.

When you enter the Spooky Forest, you can get the mosquito larva on the first adventure, but you might not. So you might fight something or get a non combat. If you get a combat and you get owned. You should train at the “Outskirts of Cobb’s Knobs” which is located in the “plains” if you are muscle sign, the “haunted pantry” which is located in the right side of the tracks (which is located in the seaside town) if you are a mysticality sign or the “sleazy back alley” which is located in the wrong side of the tracks (which is found in the seaside town) if you are a moxie class.

When you have 12 or more moxie, go back to “The Spooky Forest” and continue adventuring there until you get the adventure called “Rock-a-bye Larva”.

Go back to the Council of Loathing who will say, “

Thanks for the larva, Adventurer. Er, actually, y’know what? You look pretty lonely. Maybe you should hatch this larva and keep the mosquito as a pet.

To do so, you’ll need a Familiar-Gro™ Terrarium at your campsite. You can use this Meat to buy one, if you don’t already have one.”

Meat                                                          You gain 500 Meat.

Well there you have it, quest finished!
