How to get money in maple story

Ok, first let me clear things up
This guide is for BEGINNERS (I mean, seriously…a pro doesn’t need to search this but still).

Ok…i guess its time to start
So you arrive maple story  and you are having lots of fun with your new character but before you cant even notice there will be a problem.

You Need Money

Mesos in maple story work the same way that in every other game, with the mesos you buy equipment, weapons, potions and random stuff that you might like (flags, hats shoes).

And to be honest…its not that hard to get money .

Here are some easy ways to get money:

• Sell fame: You can do this one a day, go ch1 and search for a dude saying something like “Buying fame 15k each” You fame him, then you trade him and get the money (Of course there will be scammers, just avoid dudes that are low level and look poor, and avoid dudes that are offering a ridiculous amount of mesos like 300k+).
• Hunting: Hunting is fun, you get exp, mesos and drops so it’s a triple win, you can sell the drops (or use it for quest that also give money/exp) and get an extra.
• Questing: Quests are pretty much the same thing as hunting, there are quests that are just a piece of cake and give a lot of money, but also quests that are super hard and might make you lose money (quest that make you get expensive items, go places, travel a lot, use pots to stay alive).

Now, it’s not only about getting the money, but also keeping it so here you have some tips:

• If you want to save money, avoid hunting higher lvl monsters, or even same/lower that hit you a lot, and make you lose hp/mp because, if you don’t want to die, you will use potions, that cost precious money, that you will waste….so, bottom line hunt safely .
• When you buy armor check what they give, if the lvl 15 you are wearing gives +10DEF and the lvl 20 you want to buy gives 12+DEF…don’t buy it!! wait till you get the lvl you buy the next armor, because you will sell the lvl 15 half price, you will buy the lvl 20 and since it’s not to hard to lvl at first….you will sell it again at half price before you notice.
• Don’t travel like crazy on cab….unless it’s really really far and you really need to go, if not, i suggest walking to save at least 1000mesos.

Now, the following tips might not work, this are random things that could happen based on your luck :

• If you get a hard to get item and has no real use for you, go fm and sell it, just avoid  getting scammed.
• You can get a high lvl friend that gives you a couple of  K`s  or items.
• You can run into a guy quitting or something and get some of his stuff(sell it, keep it w/e).

PD: You can also beg for money, but you might not get anything but name calling, it works sometimes, but again, nobody like roasted nuts…errr…i mean noobs that beg for money ;D.
