If you’ve been to training and MapleStory, you’ve probably reached the point where you will be able to advance to the second job advancement.

It’s a good idea to note that at 30, a magician is much more powerful than other classes. This puts you at an advantage and you may be able to level faster at this point.

So once you reach level 30, you’ll want to return to Ellinia and talk to Grendel the really old. After talking to him, he will send to the instructor the second job advancement forest north of Ellinia. Talk to him and he takes you on a tree, where you’ll find extra powerful horned mushroom and curse eye. They drop dark marbles, so choose them until you get 30 of them. When you’re done with that, talk to the instructor and refer you to the very old after providing proof of a hero Grendel. Grendel will see your new item, then it will ask you which way you want to take.

Most people do not choose the fire / poison, but it is not bad in any way. Ice Mages can freeze and kill their enemies quickly, and lightning comes with this class as well. In fact, a lightning attack, you can kill up to 6 enemies at once, which is very powerful and useful to say the least. The last second career choice you can do is to become a cleric, who ended up becoming very, very rich. You will also be responsible for the healing of your party in party quests.

When you become level 38, you will be more powerful than any other class in the game at the same level.
