My Brief Bandit Guide in Maplestory

OK… This is my first TRUE guide to a certain class which grabbed me… with a dagger. Not literally, but come on, its a great class. The Bandits.

To start off i just want to introduce MY bandit so you know that i am experienced with the class

Server: Windia

Level: 60

In game name: xIStabStuffx

OK. Lets really start now.

Ill start off with leveling, as many maplers look for that part of a guide first off.

1-10: Maple island. Full stop. Do all the quests as they should get you to 7-9 alone.

10-17: green slimes in slime trees. Excellent exp and they come in mobs there. No problem. To get to level 17, should take you, what? Like, 30 min TOPS.

17-23: Green Mushrooms. In the map of ; Someone Else’s house. Its a hidden street. ask someone for directions. (By the way, its in henesys.)

23-30: Ant tunnel. if you think you can take a mob, or have a party, try doing the mini dungeon in Ant tunnel II.

30-30: uh, Job adv? obviously. Ill wait. Take your time.

OK. Now Your a REAL bandit. Not a wannabe bandit. A REAL one. pat yourself on the back. no really. Do it. You deserve it.

Now the part of the armor. Clothing. Whatever you like to call it.

• 1-20: stay with your clothes, don’t buy new ones.
• 20-30: Dark Pao suit. You will need the extra mp, trust me, Bandits to Be’s usually eat up their mp bar.
• 30: get the sneaker suit. Pick and choose their all pretty much the same. Or, you can do the quest for a sauna ans scroll with luck for overall. 60% should do fine.  So. Your level 30, and decide to think ahead. Monster carnival! No. not yet at least, or unless you have a friend to help you with it. Why? Who would want a low level to help them fight monsters. Especially if their gonna take around 8 hits to kill a robot. I know i wouldn’t.
• 30-35: Ant tunnel II mini dungeon. Its better than fighting a Jr. Wraith, as they need lost more hits to kill. Whats better? 2 hit for 35 exp or 5 hit or more 70 exp. Do the math.
• 35-38: alligators? Maybe. Only if its got to do with drop quests. Other than that, don’t bother. Try wraiths with a cleric your level, it might be better. If your still unfunded, keep in Ant tunnel II, and try fire boars if its boring you.
• 38-47: What now? More monsters? Probably, its got to do with monsters. if you thought monster carnival, you are WRONG! just kidding your correct. people will actually consider you now for a go. Have fun and get a dragon toe nail dagger with the coins, and scroll with at least 2 successful 60%. I WOULDN’T GO FOR A SHINKITA! Why? because there is still a bug in it that make booster practically useless. I would go for 1.5 savage blows that one that’s got the power of 1.2. And that’s within a time limit of a dragon toenail with booster.
• 47-55: Meet your fast leveling again! Elin party quest. Around 54,000 exp per run, each being just over the amount of a cpq. what out for the boss’s third form however, it can 2 hit kill you. That is why i left it for 47 not 45 so the fog he does, does not kill you, doing 200 each 1.5 seconds.
• 55-60: Pirate party quest or ludibrium maze party quest. One give lost of exp in around 8 minutes, the other less than 15000 per 2 minutes if you have a good party. pick and choose, and try to be good at the ludibrium on please.
• 60-70: Ludibrium maze party quest. Makes you rich and is quick exp. If you feel you get better exp somewhere else, go for it, bu if you need lots of money fast, do ludi maze. i could get 5 mill a day if i did it for a long time, other wise around 800k a day for me.
• 70: Wow. As to the day of this being written, i have not gotten to this level. I don’t know much about this part. Please refer to another guide and do not flame me please.

Equipment:

• 30-40: Stay with your armor, and get a level 35 dagger or a dragons toenail and scroll.
• 40-50: Get the clothes. been a long time and i don’t remember what it was called. Equip that dragons toenail now.
• 50-60: No shinkita for you. Really slow when you think about it. slow and strong is for warrior. The bandits should be very fast and very quick, dealing damage without a blink of an eye. get a red or brown china set. As for me i was weird. Brown hat, blue top, red pant, brown gloves and red shoes. Pretty funny. GO! RAINBOW BANDIT!
• 60-70: Find a dark Scorpio set. If you can get one, great! If not, oh well. I was lucky, my friend got me one, but i still payed her. Get a deadly fin and scroll with 60%. Or you can get a level 70 dagger.
• 70: Get your level 70 gear before you hit this level, or you gonna be annoyed. If you didn’t scroll your deadly fin, get a kandine.
