Second Life: Step Up or Step Down
Is the game Second Life an evolution or meltdown?
I know that the game Second life has been around for many years now and i made an account a couple days ago, yet i must admit, it is an astounding game. Although the character movement and some other minor problems such as slow servers are annoying, it is an evolution of gaming. Many of us have heard of Spore, the game that shows evolution of an animal from single cell organism to sentient species of the Galaxy, but this is a different type of evolution of gaming. Second Life offers you the oppurtunity to become a successful bussiness man to a builder or dancer. It really is a “Second Life” as the proffessions require the skills you have, so a builder will require a creative mind, and a bussiness man will require an intelligent mind. It also has the realism that you are not employed by moderators or NPC’s but by other players, and other players will employ you and pay you (hopefully). But, is this really so good. I think that the game has been ruined by all this “mature” content of the game. There are NO filters and NOT enough moderators or police. Loads of people play Second Life and i have nothing against it. In fact, i think it is excellant, but if you are a child who gets permission to play, or you are easily disturbed, I do not recommend this game for you.
