RuneScape vs. World of Warcraft

The two biggest online RPG’s go head to head.

Can you not find any new video games? Well, I have two games for you, Runescape and World of Warcraft. They are good games for all types of gamers and you can decide what game is better for you.

First things first, Runescape and World of Warcraft, or W.o.W. are Role Playing Games (RPG).  RPG’s are games where you can select what path you want to take, like, “Do you want to be a master of a skill or get money by doing things for other people?”  Secondly, you can level up (to gain experience by training a skill) to become one of the best players in the game. Truthfully, leveling up is not the only thing that you can do in the games, there are thousands of other things you can do to have fun.

The economy in both Runescape and World of Warcraft are so different. In Runescape there is only one type of money gold pieces or gp, for short. In W.o.W. there are three types, bronze, silver, and gold. In Runescape and W.o.W. it is very easy to get money. The economy in W.o.W is very good and everything is at a high price, which could be a good or bad thing.  On the other the economy in Runescape has fluctuated, everything is either a very high or very low price. Both games to take a lot of practice to become effective at money making. The economies in the games are very different.

Both Runescape and World of Warcraft are very good but very different games. The only bad thing about W.o.W. is that there is a monthly fee of $14.99 a month, Runescape is free, or for more to do $5 you can get a membership. There is so much to do and I am sure everyone would love the games if they tried them out. So go on and try Runescape and World of Warcraft.

Well yes, but you can play both games with your friends–and hence obviate the need for a membership fee. I think the membership fee is only if you play online, isn’t it?

And both those games are interesting but I guess I like D&D better–I can’t say I am as familiar with Runescape as you are but WoW has too much combat and not enough role-playing for me. Dungeons and Dragons is just the right mix. I quite look forward to my weekends when I can go forth with my trusted companions into a deserted castle, crypt, or even sanctuary that’s been profaned and rescue it and then go back to town and have a pint.. or four at the local pub…

    Best,

i say this on every comparision you can NEVER compare WoW and RUNESCAPE!!! wow is a mmo *main* + rpg *second* meaning its designed for multi players with some fantasy and rpg elements added as a bonus. RS is a rpg *main* + mmo *second* just to allow ppl to help each other

its liek comparing fire and water. it serves no real use they are 2 diffrent to compare
