World of Wacraft The Shattering and Cataclysm: Survival Hunter Talent Build

Often overlooked for beast mastery or marksmen, the survival build takes a little more practice than the others to get some good numbers going on the charts. With some very unique abilities this talent build offers some great utility skill as well as some very heavy firepower. The basic build and glyphs are here in this picture, the blank spots in the glyphs means there is no standout here and personal preference can fill the spot.

Skills and shot priomething like: Hunter’s Mark – Kill Shot – Explosive Shot – Serpent Sting – Black Arrow – Arcane Shot

This may confuse some but because it’s based on priorities, it’s more of a checklist than rotation or priority even.

If hunter’s mark is on your target, then kill shot is the preferred skill if available, if kill shot is not available then Explosive shot is the next on the checklist. Serpent sting should always be on your target only if hunter’s mark and Explosive shot have already been used. Black arrow would be the next ability on the list followed by Arcane Shot.

Steady shot can be added in here also if there is an issue with focus.

It takes some practice, hitting a target dummy for a few minutes isn’t enough. Test it out in action, some 5man heroics or even in pvp. Keybindings and action bar setup will also take some changes and some time to become familiar with. Survival Hunters can be very competitive on the dps charts currently and all it takes is some practice and time.

This is pretty good, I used to play a hunter on wow, but have been playing Diablo 3 lately. Check out this video about gearing up for max gold find on Diablo 3. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hEmw3ci-F-Y
