World of Warcraft is Huge

Don’t know World of Warcraft? (WOW) Heard of it, but doesn’t know what this "WOW" game is all about? Read on.

Blizzard has an unusual sound business with World of Warcraft. 11 million players pay up to 100 dollars per month in subscription. Total flows are well over half a billion dollars to Blizzard’s inbox each month.

However, there are also certain expenses related to running the world’s biggest online gaming. It revealed the Blizzard cofounder Frank Pearce at the Game Developers Conferen
 e in Austin, Texas, writes Gamespot.

It requires 75,000 CPUs, 13,500 servers and 5.5 million lines of code that 11 million play WoW. Blizzard has 4,000 employees and 600 partners who are exclusively engaged in the game. They shall, inter alia, that each patch come in 120 versions, to suit all configurations and that the WoW-statue stands in front of Blizzard’s headquarters are in bad condition.

If you divide up WoW in separate parts, so it consists of 7650 including quests, spells 70,000, 40,000 NPC and 1.5 million unique parts from weapons to houses.

The original WoW had 2600 quests. Burning Crusade peaked with the 2700 new quests, and Wrath of the Lich King has 2350 quests.

    2 years back I was obsessed with Warcraft games and completed all the levels too. Whenever I faced problems clearing levels I used cheat codes :)

    I don’t play it anymore but I got to level 70 (which were the best level back then)
    But it’s a game that’ll never stop, if blizzard don’t want it to :p
