What This Is All About

Today I’m going to show you how you can make some money in World of Warcraft. You want to fish  Deviate Fish. Now you may be wondering what is so good about these babies. Well, many high level characters want these fish because of their unique property to do something random to you. They can turn you into a pirate, or even put you to sleep. It’s a great deal of fun. Now since they are high leveled, they are too lazy to fish for low level fish so they just buy it for ridiculous prices. You can easily sell them for 10g a stack on most servers but some go for 25g a stack.

What You Need

You will need to 1 silver to learn the Fishing skill from the Fishing trainer in any major city. Talk to the guards if you don’t know where to go. Once you learn that buy a fishing rod from the nearby vendor and head to Orgrimmar and make it your home.

How To Get To Orgrimmar and What To Do When Your There

If you are undead you will need to take the zeppelin. Blood elves need to take the portal to the Undercity and Tauren can take the zeppelin in Thunder Bluff. Get the Flight Path if you don’t have it. By the fishing trainer in Orgrimmar there should be a pondish lake thing. Fish in there till you have 50 fishing. Once you do, get journeyman fishing and buy two shiny bobbles. This will increase your fishing skill to 75 and you will not get any junk from the fishing spot I’m going to show you. Once your done, head to the Cross Roads.

How To Get To The Cross Roads

To get there, go to Razor Hill, the follow the path west till you reach the barrens and keep on the path till you reach the Cross Roads. Get the Flight Path then head south and till you reach the Wailing Caverns. Outside the caverns is an oasis, the lush green area with trees and a lake in the middle. That is where you want to fish. Remeber fish for deviate fish and throw out any greys that you might get.

 The Auction House

 When you are done, hearth to Orgrimmar, hit the Auction House, and sell your fish for 10g with a buyout of 15g. If you see alot of your people selling higher than that on your realm, match their price and take away one or two gold. This ensures that you sell for the highest price and beat your competitors as well.

Once you finished selling the Deviate Fish at the auction house, you can go back whenever you want to by taking the Flight Paths.

Seeing how little time it takes to get these fish, this is an excellent way for anyone to make some extra cash on WoW and increase their fishing skill while they’re at it.

Tips

1. Fish near a School of Deviate fish for an increased chance of fishing one.
2. Watch out for the Kolkar Centaurs if you are low level.
3. If you can get the Savory Deviate Delight recipe, you can cook your fish for even more gold (the recipe may be really expensive however)
4. You may want to wait until you are level 15 before you try this just to minimize the risk of being killed by Kolkar.
5. Try positioning your self slightly in the water so you are less likely to be attacked by the Kolkar but are still out of range of the turtles in the oasis.
6. Invest in more or bigger bags to increase the amount of fish you can carry per trip.
