Shadow Complex: Side Scrolling Mayhem

Shadow Complex is a game exclusive to the Xbox 360 that combines the old side scrolling games of old with new technology of the Microsoft gaming rig.  

If you are the gamer who likes a fast paced single player game, then this could be the game for you.  There seems to be a lot of anticipation over this game on the web, it might just live up to the hype.

Interestingly it’s background story is based on the bestselling sci-fi novel “Empire” by Orson Scott Card.

From the first iterations of the game it seems that it is poised to include excellent gameplay, with a well written script and storyline.  Furthermore, it has the genius of the creators of “Gears of War” behind it.  If the success of that game is an indication of how successful this new game will be, then there should indeed be high hopes for it.

As for me, I haven’t played a side scroller in a very long time.  It would truly be interesting to see, especially for those who went through the old school side scrollers of old how new technology and graphics will affect and impact such a game.

Get ready for Shadow Complex, side scrolling as it was meant to be…
