The Sims Three Cheats and Hints

While playing The Sim 3 I have come across a few problems. A simple way to get some cheats (some are not very good but its easy.) All you have to do is open the cheat box (Shift+Ctrl+c) and type in help. There are alot of cheats that come up, and some of them can be very helpful.

These cheats you can use more than once.

$50,000- open cheat box, then type motherlode

$1,000- open cheat box, then type kaching

If you want to move an object to a certain place where it wont let you just open the cheat box and type moveobjects on

If you are in the neighborhood and you can not afford the house you want just open the cheat box and type freerealestate

If you are wanting to easily make your sims happy you can open the cheat box and type testingCheatsenabled true. After you do that then you can go to your sims motives and click on one and drag the motive up until it is where you want it. This cheat you can also press SHIFT and click your mailbox and you can get any job you want and choose which level of the career you want. If you press SHIFT and click your active sim you can trigger an age transition and they will grow up whenever you want them to ( you can also just buy a birthday cake and have them grow up that way, even if its not time for them to grow up.) Back to the motives, alike dragging the motives you can also drag the relationship bars and make it so that person likes you more.

If you want an easier way to get your sim happy just open the cheat box and type maxMotives

Some tips: If you are pregnant and you want your baby to be a certain gender, then eat watermelons if you want a girl, and eat apples for a boy. If you want a certain amount of babies you have to get enough life points to get the fertility reward, that will give you more children every time you have a baby.
