New Sonic the Hedgehog 3D Fan-game well under works.
There is a new Sonic the Hedgehog 3D fan-game in the makes called Sonic Revolution. Game development so far is mainly focusing on getting more of the models finished for a demo level. The demo is hoped to be released sometime near November. The engine so far is decently smooth.
The engine core was once using the amazing slope detection system from another game in the makes with the name Sonic Bastardized. Recently, one of the owners who does the engine work has been working on making a new, original slope detection system. From some of the news i’ve heard of it, it’s going pretty well in the latest engine test.
This game has seen many different ownership issues and is currently merged with SpiderByte Games.
It may not be as far in production or advanced as Sonic GL made by rival Bosser Jerome, but we hope that it will be able to surpass Sonic GL when it’s all finished.
There is a new character introduced in the game, taking the name Nevius. Not too much information about him is available for release, but one thing i can say is that he looks pretty bad-a$$ for a Sonic Fan Character.
There will also have the return of Hyper Sonic! The game’s loosely set upon other official Sonic games, but taking it’s own story and gameplay. Eggman is going to be in the game as always.
Most people working on the game maynot even be 18, but it’s going great!
