Soul Reaver Boss Guide
A small, quick, easy to follow guide on how to defeat the bosses in Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver.
The first boss is Melchiah. You must lure him under a door frame, pull a leaver and force a spike door to fall and impale him, rinse repeat until there are no doors left now lure him into the centre cage, jump out and pull the leaver. Hey, presto! Watch the cut scene.
Kain, very simple, in theory but you must be quick, he will teleport to a new location. Run to him and hit him before he does you, if you die then kill the ghost and shift back to the material realm. Keep doing this until he dies, watch the cut scene.
Now we come to Zephon. Wait for him to lay and egg pick it up, run to the flamethrower near him, the egg will set alight, throw it at him, do this a couple of times and you will have killed him, again, a cut scene.
Fourth is a Turelim Vampire named Morlock, you don’t fight Turel, whom you simply kill by any means you see fit.
Fifth is Rahab, the swimmer. Easy as pie, break all of the stained glass windows with your newly acquired force projectile, compliments of Turelim Vampire, and the sun will shine on ol’ Rahab and he’s history – cut scene.
And for our final boss, apart from Kain that is. Dumah, again, is pretty simple, all you have to do is run away from him, not too fast so he loses interest and wanders back to his throne, but not to slow so that he catches you. Once you have lead him to the big furnace you must, turn the wheel and pull the leaver, and once again he is outta here! Watch the following cut scene.
Kain 2, again – very simple, in theory but you must be quick, he will teleport to a new location. Run to him and hit him before he does you, if you die then kill the ghost and shift back to the material realm.
Each time you hit him, he moves up a tier in the chamber. Keep doing this until you beat him, watch the cut scene.
Well done you’ve completed the game!!!

Nice…will try it..
Thanks, I’m glad you liked it. I love the LoK games, one of my favourite series of games. Thankyou for the comment and the ‘I LIKE IT’, look out for my next article, not sure what it will be yet but… keep your ear to the grindstone.
