FIFA 12 – Top Five Centre Midfielders

The top Five Centre Midfielders in my opinion go something like this:

5. Milner – Milner plays for Manchester City in the BPL. At the number 5 spot on the top Five Centre Midfielders is James Milner. Milner is one of the most solid, all round Centre Midfielders in the Barclays Premier League and the World. He has incredible longshots, and I mean incredible, give him the space anywhere from 30 yards out and it’s in. He has great passing, and good strength. Milner is also very cheap so try him out.

4. Ramires – Ramires plays for Chelsea in the BPL. Ramires is more of a defensive Centre Midfielder then an attacking one. Even still, he has very good pace and a nice longshot. His standing tackles and defensive interceptions is something I noticed a lot whilst using him, he always wins the ball, and his strength helps him keep it too.

3. Sissoko – Sissoko plays for Toulouse FC in Ligue 1. Sissoko to me, is like an upgrade of Ramires. He has 70+ in all card stats, and noticeably has a great combination of 86 pace and 83 defending, so he is a lot more defensive than attacking. So where should you play this tank? I recommend playing him in the centre of the park in a 4-3-3 or 4-3-2-1 formation. He holds the team together and can break down the opponents attack with ease. Definitely recommend him for his pricetag.

2. Schweinsteiger - Schweinsteiger plays for Bayern Munich in the Bundesliga. Bastian Schweinsteiger is one of my favourite Players let alone Centre Midfielders in Fifa 12. Alright he isn’t the quickest (63 pace) but he makes up for this with his all round attributes. Schweinsteiger has amazing longshots, and alongside his long shot taker trait you’ll see them nestling in from 30+ yards. His freekicks are also very nice. Not just this but he can pass the ball like no other, which is a great attribute to have especially as he’s always there to receive the pass. Try him out in a 4-3-3 playing in the middle. A bit expensive perhaps, but worth it.

1. Marchisio – Marchisio plays for Juventus in the Seria A. Now for the best Centre Midfielder in Fifa 12. Claudio Marchisio. Having had a great season for Juve, Marchisio has a total of 3 informs! This means that not only can you get his standard card, which is already immense, but you can also upgrade to of the 3 informs. I feel Marchisio is a combination of all 5 of the above. He has the pace of Sissoko and Ramires (especially in his later versions), the passing ability of Schweinsteiger, and the longshots of Milner. I fully recommend getting his first inform, or even his second in form. The value for money on these cards is quite incredible! Marchisio’s informs can range from 20k to 30k, but remember this he can play anywhere from CF right the way back to CDM. His all round stats and excellent pace ensure that he is the best Centre Midfielders in the game. Definitely try him out.
