strategy:first don’t do anything. the nearest hellhound to you will leave for the mages.  use your chieftain to capture the villages on the way to the second portal with a black knight as an escort.  the hell hounds and seaside mages will attack each other.  advance with black knights to take the hell hounds portal.  after you take it spam the mages with rangers or if you have Bridger make a bridge from your first portal to directly to the mages portal and spam rangers down there. 

another strategy is to simply kill the hellhound with a black knight(with vampire blood) and use it to hold the hell hounds back while you take the next portal with your chieftain.  then summon  a few more black knights and attack the hell hounds portal and take it.  then spam rangers at them.
