We soon reached the island we sought. It wasn’t a large island but it wasn’t small either. We found a bay which we would lay anchor in while we searched the island. I made sure that the men knew to watch the island and the sea both. Something told me that Tiggal had picked up our trail again.

“Drop the canvas.” I called and the sails began to close. “Everyone knows there job and I know you can all do it. We donna to expect on the island so be ready at all times.” The men nodded and I turned to Sam. “Keep an eye on the land and the sea. I get the feeling that we might have more of a problem on our backs than just the bloody Phantasm. I’m leaving Myung-Hee incase you need to hide.”

“What is he’s got trackers sir?” Sam said. “We vanish they can still sniff us out.”

“If I’m right he’s gonna come looken for me.” I smiled. “Even if he can track you he won’t because you won’t be leaving and he knows it. He’ll land on the island as sure as we will.” I turned to the crew. “I want five of our best with me and Laela. The rest of you stay aboard and await orders.”

There were more objections from the crew but I quelled them quickly. “Listen to me, all of yoo. There is an unknown threat on that island and I do not wish to risk to many of the crew. With all of yoo safe on board I know the ship will be safe. Do not allow anyone on board but those of us who have left and do not attack anyone, who comes into the bay, even Tiggal. We donna want to bring any undo attention to the ship if we can help it.”
