I knew that Sam was ready to do his part of the whole mess but I didn’t think that the others were ready for what was about to happen. As I had ordered Sam had Myung-Hee hide the ship and they were barely notice by Tiggal’s people as they came into the bay from what Sam told me later. The part that bothered me was that The Phantasm’s people seem to be more interested in the French ship than the fact that the Deliverance had disappeared. This meant that he didn’t think he could take the Deliverance and that the French ship was a better bet.

I knew that Tiggal feared me and from the way the Phantasm’s people were acting he was showing it. I heard more than one of the Sadian’s say that they had landed with more men than they left on the ship and that if they killed them they could take the ship easy. This was the last thing I wanted. The Tiggal was dogging me but I would rather face his harassment then have to spend the next few years hunting down an evil I had unleashed on the world.

The Phantasm himself lead his men against the French landing party leaving only a few of his men behind to guard us and the few women that had shipwrecked on the island. This would work in our favor and give us a chance to get up behind our foes and maybe even end Tiggal’s pursuit of us.
