Torao the Privateer

The plan was simply complicated. I knew that it would push Myung-Hee to her limits but I also knew that she could handle it and Hawkins found a booster (oh yeah they are rare so I should say that a booster is someone who can ad too or take away your powers) named Tualau. I was guessing that she was from Fuji or Tahiti or some damn island in the pacific but wherever she was from, she knew what she was doing when it came to her powers.

“Okay men.” I called to the men. “Get ready for battle and remember to try not to kill. We want them alive when we leave the ship.” I turned to the small group on the bridge. “You four make sure that nothing disturbs and protect her at all costs. Myung-Hee, you know what to do.”

“Aye Torao.” She smiled. “I can do this for as long as you need and am ready now.”

I nodded. “Okay here we go. Get it started.”

Four images of ships, all different from each other but still based on our ship. They looked real and were different enough to look several ships not just illusions but none could be hit and would do no real damage though a few might think they had. Our ship remained unseen even though one that looked just like us was moving with the group. We stuck with them until we were within rang and fired three shots.

One of the gold ships was hit and the rest of the ship moved for the fight. I was right about the ship I saw, the La Gaule moved out from the middle of the group and began to fire on the illusion that looked like us. It turned to broadside the fake ship not knowing it was pointless to do so. All that did was give us a chance to come up along side them and board.
